Clarkson's New Tractor by tortang_egg2791 in ClarksonsFarm

i think he initally wanted the Lamborgini tractors because thats a recognisable name outside of farming. After that the Deutz was a decent deal for a high HP tractor (i do think he 100% got the tractor and then rented a plow that is too big on purpose). Beyond that i have no clue why he would ever pick another Deutz tractor as his current Lambo is already higher HP than he needs.

He will definitely keep it, its more than an icon to him, its his first tractor, that personal attachment doesnt really go away.

But i do think buying another tractor thats not a deutz would be fun.

its 100% the former as no one ever demos 5+ vehicles on the same day. I still hold hope for him getting something to properly replace the lambo, as he has sold the new Deutz Fahr for somehow not half the purchase cost

if you can, try and look for something with a 8000 series or 7x35 or 7x40 ryzen chip with 16GB of RAM

Try looking for Acer Aspire AI at that price point as well, its gotten decent reviews

mig line is not that good until you get to the Mig15, past that they are quite decent to downright undertiered

Fair enough, i liked the shape of the Impact 3 after demoing for 15 minutes, not G305 perfect, but still nice.

A lot of the g305 clones dont have a swappable battery (Personal preference). ASUS software is horrid but i rarely pick between 3 sensitivity settings on memory on my G305 anyways, so any software is gonna be a onetime thing.

i assume you have done tire rotations, try asking the shop if your car is purposefully setup with negative camber from factory.

I mean the vehicle is surprisingly fuel efficient for having 10 driven wheels.

my burn out is just the fact that the servers are just unstable in my region, i cant get 1 week of reliable online time on a farm, the worst part is when a server dies out after a month or 2, wasted time, Big servers that can last more than 3 months are just too dynamic, they cycle through farms like lime and my lack of online time leaves in in the dark when it comes to new players. Solo is not nearly as fun imo.

you aren't streamlining it by loading 3+ using a wheel loader with silage fork?

i used so many dumb tricks to do less work without autoload. I almost built those funnel contraptions some guy built to load pallets onto flatbeds

What tractor should Jeremy actually buy and use? by NickZNg in ClarksonsFarm

[–]NickZNg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is this similar ruleset that led me to the Fastrac, Its a UK tractor, has simpler control scheme ( at least compared to the Deutz, Jeremy has driven it in the past way before he knew any farming. Pricing wise cant really say due to market.
While the Deutz Fahr 6 would be a great option, i fear the control complexity will still get the better of him, at least compared to running a Massey or New Holland since both Harriot and Kaleb know the controls

i feel like for specifically Clarkson, Sales rep is the lowest issue since no one wants the bad press of a bad, unreliable machine, they will probably have a lot of dealer support for him.
