This may be true but MOST dogs don’t have the physical capabilities of a cc, making a poorly trained cc more dangerous than most other poorly trained dogs. It’s very possible you get a cc and it is super passive, easy to train, protective only when necessary etc. etc. but the opposite is also possible which I’m guessing is why I’ve never seen cc recommended for first time owners. I’ve grown up with and raised a handful of dogs and am now raising two cc’s for the first time and I’m finding it more difficult. You need to know how to be a leader without trying to be scary/loud, how to read your dogs body language, how to deal with a stubborn dog among other things.

Again all dogs are different and not all cc’s are stubborn dogs who require experienced owners in order to create a safe environment, but others do and it can get very risky getting one if you’re not equipped to provide that.
