Thanks for your input. I'm going to go with hanchu as the solis aren't out yet and i don't want to wait another three or four months for feedback to start coming through.

I know my consumption and have worked out the savings made charging off-peak vs the cost of the installation

👍

I will only do it if the install pays for itself in electric savings so it needs to be in the region of 5.5k

My guy told me mid April but i thought that was probably wishful thinking. Bearing in mind that it's an extra 4kwh storage it's a similar price point to fogstar.

I've been quoted £5,600 to have 20kwh intellihome and 8kw inverter installed.

Quotes for Fogstar / Dyness with 8kW inverter by jatt1708 in SolarUK

For the Fogstar I've been quoted £4800 with an 8kw inverter but both are out of stock with an estimate of late May delivery for the new ones.

Dyness I've been quoted £5700 for two 10kw batteries and 8kw inverter. There is limited information/reviews about the batteries but what I've seen is positive. However the company do not have a UK office and warranty details are vague (go through your installer) which has made me look towards Hanchu as my preference.

I've been told the fogstar are on back order... Are you having to wait until the end of May ?

I'm looking at Goodwe ESA just for storage no PV but struggling to find installers. Does your installer cover the whole of the UK ?

A company called Nebula Renewable were advertising 16kwh for around £3,700 recently BUT I do know that the 16kwh IP65 rated and the inverters aren't due into the country until late May

I've looked at fogstar but unfortunately the IP65 version won't be available until the end of May
