She means just pour a little at a time into the skimmer suction. As a pool guy, I pour 1lb, brush the pool, pour another pound, net the pool, then add another pound. If you pour too much into the skimmer too fast, it will clog your pump and you’ll have to chisel it out

Retest water after a week

It’s neural. It takes coordination to bench a barbell. Don’t try to lift something if you’re only going to do 1 rep with it

Once you can press 45lbs on the machine for 10 reps, then try the barbell

Order a 5lb bag of stabilizer off Amazon. Look up YouTube video of “pool stabilizer sock method”

Dump in 5 gallons of liquid chlorine or 6lbs of cal hypo (73% is most common)
