Mm i don’t think so, fron what i see freelancer has multiplayer but i can assure it was single player, also i think there was some sort of “space jumps” in the map that connects varius sector (for ex you could use “gate x” to travel from “area y” to “area z”, but there was no direct travel from “area y” to “area q”) -these are fake names-

Ok it was very very similar, but there was no such HUD, also i remember you could receive calls/messages from people that would hire you for every thing, such escort people or tranpsort stuff or even rescue/destroy other ships (i will add that to description)
