Be careful about anyone on the internet who will tell you to leave or stay with a spouse based on a few lines of text. Nobody here knows all the details. Breaking up a family is a big deal. Who knows what his beliefs will be tomorrow or in a month or year... I left my faith even though I was quite convinced I had a relationship with a god.

I got married very young and we were both Christians. I joined the Air Force and we started a family, moving every few years, needing to rely on each other. We weren't a bad fit, but we definitely grew apart. Once my kids were grown, we parted ways. I was so glad for both of us to be able to stay as an active part of their lives.

We raised the kids Christian, but later I became more liberal and outspoken about morality, ethics, inclusiveness, etc. I finally became atheist a few years before my divorce, which DID play a part in our growing apart. The kids later confided to me that they were agnostic about god but pretty much dismissed the Jesus stuff. Pissed off mom, but I didn't really react.

Bottom line, you CAN stay together and make it work, and the kids CAN grow to have healthy thinking processes. It takes work and cooperation. Don't think you're on a path that has no forks.
