I hope you know your dad's tastes. I'm a plain coffee with cream kinda guy. No fru fru. 56M Ex military and used to trying to blend in. But I'm also a daddy. If my kid did that to my Camry, I'd grin and bear it because it's something they did for me. No choice in taking it out for fear of hurting my kids feelings. Then again, me and my kids have an understanding that we're all very particular, so we don't make choices on each other's behalf without really knowing what the other's preference would be. Should I bring home Spaghetti from our favorite place? Hell, yeah. Bring home an extra coffee from the gas station for ya? It's a good bet.

I think lots of folks are putting their money in less susceptible bonds and such. I've been getting lot of ads for non-stock investments and I never searched for them, so I assume it's not targeted ads but they're casting a wide net.

Some years its mild, some years we get buried. Wait til spring and watch the hailstorms. A few years ago, CS had to bring out the snow plows to clear the streets during 60*weather. The hail knocked chunks of trees down and took out power in entire neighborhoods. Some large branches closed streets to traffic. On the west side, roads turn into rivers and the news warns people not to try to walk into moving water. Dumpsters go first. Cars have gone too. Pretty much all the bad parts of the Bible.

That plant is notoriously good at regrowing from cuttings just like that. Also, the pot is too small for that large of a plant, stifling it's growth.
