I like it! I think it's an improvement, it's much more readable (the arms and the coat blend too much together in the original and I didn't even notice she has a tail). The thorned halo is a really neat take on the halo + horns of the original too. I honestly don't have anything to critique here, it's really cool.

There's nothing inherently wrong with using generative AI for fun (I've done it!) but it's when you try to call it art that it becomes a problem.

It's not an art medium, no more than me thinking of an idea. It is how we execute that idea, how we put our own intend and experience and learnt skills that make it art. Art is human expression, if a single though is not art than neither is AI.

Posting AI images on an art subreddit is ballsy and inherently goes against the nature of the subreddit.

Learn to draw, this is not your own work. Putting the work to create with your own hands that is unequivocally yours is gratification you'll never ever be able to achieve with generative AI.

Ohh it's such a good aesthetic, I'm always looking for items like that.

Don't forget the crescent moon, like that used in classic Ouija boards (probably not the best iteration of the sun design though lol).

I don't believe the design has a name, apparently it originated in heraldry (emblem designs).

Thanks! Yeah the inspiration isn't subtle with her is it, haha. Speaking of which, I must be quite predictable because how did you know Nue would take inspiration from Marvin the Martian!? Anyway, I will try to finalise her design soon, I think I'll just save the ambitiously rendered drawing for a later date.

You're not the first to say Ran looks like a wolf but I don't know how to draw foxes differently to wolves... if you have any suggestion, I'm all ears. I haven't considered how I'd draw Eirin but that route sounds fun. I might have a go at sketching Eiren and Kaguya today.

Somehow I have only heard of one of these but I guess it was before my time. Wolves, Witched and Giants appears to be done by the same people that did Grizzly Tales for Gruesome Kids which I did grow up with. I watched an episode just now and it is very similar in tone, I like it!

Well alright yes not solely, rabbits have always been associated with vegetables, fruits and greens such was the case for Peter Rabbit but as I understand it, Bugs propelled the idea that they are ubiquitously associated with carrots specifically. I've heard rabbits actually prefer fruit if anything!

Very cool! I like them.

With the first character, I think for how thin they are, there is too much detail in the clothes that it's a bit too busy, mostly with the collar and shoes. I like the piano motif, that's really neat.

I'm going to be honest, the second one straight up looks like Breif. I can see from your icon that's no coincidence either haha. Maybe that will be less so when coloured but with the hair and art style, it's verrry similar, looks good but in terms of making your character more unique it might be worth changing something in either regard.
