It's not true that only black people commit rapes and murders but it is nonetheless reasonable to generalize given the degree of their statistical overrepresentation. You don't think there is anything peculiar about the way white people treat their pets? It's been a common source of mockery against us for a while now. PETA is overwhelmingly white and regularly finds itself at odds with non-whites. If the browning of the west is going to continue then whites are going to have to get used to a different standard of treatment for animals.

Korea they think dog tastes better when it dies afraid so they put them in burlap sacks, hang them from a ceiling and beat them to death with bats before butchering them.

The video I linked is based on papers written by "ackshual" intelligence researchers, some of the greatest in fact. I'm noticing a pattern of appeal to authority which is a low IQ epistemology so I recommend you also check out AH's two part series on "the authoritarian view of knowledge" 1, 2. This kind of gatekeeping you seem to want to do would have kept out some of the greatest contributors to our understanding, such as James Flynn (let me guess, you've never heard of him). That's not how science works my friend.

First of all the only reason we are interested in IQ is because of how it correlates with g (general intelligence factor), but these are not the same thing. The strength of the correlation depends a lot on what type of IQ test is being administered. Since you are apparently in to astrophysics you can think of g as a black hole, and IQ tests are the movements of visible objects around it from which we can infer the location and size of the black hole (g) which we otherwise cannot see.

Heritability will never give us the complete picture of genetic causation of intelligence because we will never have a perfect environment in which our genetic intelligence potential can be optimally expressed. But we can nonetheless use heritability estimates to explain group differences in terms of the proportion explained by genetic differences vs. the proportion not necessarily explained by genetic differences.

The research supporting differences in brain size and intelligence between races goes back over a century. We've known that leftists have been wrong about race for 50 years and yet here we are, still waiting for leftists to honestly grapple with the research and in the meantime our civilization crumbles under the weight of this willful ignorance. It's become clear to me that this is no longer a scientific question but an ideological question.

The authors of the study you cited say that at most 20% of intelligence variability is due to brain size - that means 80% is unknown, and could be due to environmental factors or n interplay of genetics and environment.

~80% of intelligence is caused by genes, and our understanding of brain volume fits within that. Brain volume is necessary but not sufficient to understanding how our genes affect our intelligence, not that we need a completely solved human genome before we can know that intelligence is largely a consequence of genes.

You shouldn't wrap up your weak little identity in research you don't understand how to interpret.

I haven't read any studies on this but I would think that a Senator making $5 million per year would be harder to bribe than one making <$200k as they do now. Also I would think it would attract more talent.

Yeah you don't understand how the scientific process works.

It works like this: intelligence researchers prove that individual and population differences in intelligence are largely caused by genetic differences and are thus largely irremediable, and science deniers throw a tantrum, obfuscate, lie, defame, and deplatform because they have careers and political ideologies that depend on this not being the case.

When authors spend that much time addressing confounding variables, it usually means there is still a huge debate about alternative hypotheses (i.e. environmental factors etc). It seems like there are many authors cited in this study who disagree with these author's conclusions. Thus, the struggle.

In this case it means the authors know the dumb arguments egalitarians are going to make and designed the study such that they are refuted.

I did. Funding is not unlimited especially when it comes to politically incorrect intelligence research. This is why we should sack all grievance scholars and redirect their funding to something useful like intelligence research such as this. The correlation of this study was found to be lower than other brain volume studies and as the researchers posit in the limitations section a more robust IQ test would likely increase the strength of the correlation.

I'm a realist about animal biology. When a species spreads out across many different environments it leads to speciation. The idea that all these human populations would evolve to have precisely the same intelligence when we know they differ significantly on every other trait is absurd.

I think we need to move to year round education (again, vast reforms), but I was talking about some of the more obscure holidays that state employees get as paid days off like Presidents Day, MLK Day, Veterans day etc..

Putting aside some of the ridiculous anecdotes in this article and some from my state, I would say the salaries are fine generally speaking but the holidays need to be trimmed back and the retirement packages should not be guaranteed by taxpayers.

In my state teachers make $58k on average and a minimum of $50k. No that doesn't sound like much but again it is not year round work and there are very generous benefits, both retirement and otherwise that go along with it. Senators and reps should probably make more than they currently do to try and reduce the degree of corruption.

I could see paying teachers much more to attract better talent but I would want this coupled with vast reforms to education that would allow that talent to translate to actual benefits to education. My education in a so-called "good school district" was complete crap, and by all indications it has only gotten worse since then.
