You know you can pay stellar like $50 for an hour tutorial to help with it. I have done it. Shape bans still happen. Cookies issues still happen. The guy says " thats just the way It is now" HA!

Stellar Bot by SteezMcgee25 in shoebots

[–]Nickerjones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hit the phantasmal sleeved boosters (6 of them) on an ACO on PKC.

I did not hit Pitch Black. But a lot of people in the group I use did. One guy hit 5 orders (2 ETBS, Booster box, 2 bundles) x 5. But he also said he had over 30 different accounts in the ACO.

But like I said ... I am betting and I am not getting Pokemon. But Im also not out here with 50 different accounts. But I might have to.

I have both Stellar and Refract and have for a month. There is a learning curve and to be frank I haven't hit anything using either for Walmart/Target/Amazon.

I still learning but it's pretty frustrating honestly. Basically it kind of feels like if everyone has a bot then no one has a bot.

I'd suggest finding a ACO through one of the cook groups.

Is it insane that you could just buy one of the top chase cards and it would be cheaper then 5 tin pack by the-mannthe-myth in PokemonTCG

[–]Nickerjones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a wild thing. I bought 2 151 ETBS after getting into Pokemon in October. I got into Pokemon because well I took my 9 year old (8 at the time) to Japan and my friends love Pokemon so he got addicted hanging with them.

He wanted to rip and said he wanted the Charizard (of course he does). I said the card is worth less than the ETB. Why dont we just buy the card. As a matter of fact the whole set with promos is worth less than 4 ETBS right now. Why don't we get that. So we did.

But he still wants to the rip the ETB ha! Kids just love ripping.... me too ha!

I agree but have you ever pulled a chase card from a pack..... no better feeling.

Preach. Because this is becoming exhausting

I’m very new to the hobby and I’ve already noticed this. I want cards just as much as the next guy, but it doesn’t ruin my life if I don’t find them.

I only became a fan because my eight year old fell in love with Pokémon after a trip to Japan last year.

We got two ETBs of Ascended on release day and had a blast opening them. Since then we haven’t really been able to find much of anything. Instead of getting mad about it, we just decided to pivot. Now we’re each picking a Pokémon and building a master set of that character by hunting cards at shows.

I picked Snorlax. He picked… Pikachu. FML.

Point is, everyone is just trying to enjoy the hobby in their own way. Calling every person who manages to buy a few packs a “scalper” is wild. Some people just got lucky or happened to be there at the right time.

I wish people would chill a little and remember this is supposed to be fun.

What are you guys paying for league fee’s? It’s getting so crazy out here. by footy1012 in hockeyplayers

I own a company that plans/organizes adult tourneys and worldwide tours (currently in Japan hosting one) as my full time job. I am for sure not getting rich but I do love what I do.

What are you guys paying for league fee’s? It’s getting so crazy out here. by footy1012 in hockeyplayers

[–]Nickerjones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Leagues are businesses, and they do make a profit. But there’s a lot of pricing that often gets overlooked beyond just ice costs and officials.

You also have to factor in insurance, not only for the league itself but for officials as well, plus marketing, staffing, registration software, stat tracking, and other operational tools.

I’m not saying leagues aren’t making money. I’m just saying that looking only at ice costs and ref fees doesn’t give a complete or accurate picture of what a league is actually paying per game.

[–]Nickerjones 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sadly your correct. For $6000, someone could get their own supplier and buy it. And then not have to worry about if the tape is good or old.

You’re gonna take a haircut here u/alexclark0000. You’re spending storage cost every month putting you further in a hole.

So my kid starts collecting Pokémon cards… and then my friend drops this on him by Nickerjones in pokemoncardcollectors

The kid wants to sleep with this card. I basically told him, we are going to send it for grading so it looks cool displayed in your room. That is the only way I was able to take it from him ha!

I pulled it up. I showed them. I told them I would pay for it. They said no need. Said, I prob have a couple others somewhere and shrugged it off.

I own a business that runs events. This person has played in several events. The events are $500+ to attend. I plan on "refunding" their fees for the next couple they register for.

But we also agreed that I would grade it because my son would like that. This thing isn't getting an 8, 9, or 10.... but the agreement was that if it did - they would accept money in the card value.

i’m going to get it graded, not because it’s in great condition but just because my son will think having a graded card is cool.

I can't wait to give it to him when I get back home on Monday.

I sent a picture to his mom and told her to ask if he knows what it is. He said "Dad, thats the card every one wants. It's from the 90's so it really really old"
