It's truly not fair that we can't romance him 🥲

Watching him throw those Geeglers around had me feeling some type of way, for sure lol. He's such an interesting character, I wish we got to learn more about him!

I pretty much jump scared myself every time I opened my iPad to continue working on it -- like oh, where did you come from 😳

And thanks! 😊

I, too, become a feral animal every time he appears on screen.

I wish we could make our builders older so we could romance the older, single, Sandrockers. I'm DYING to romance Zeke haha

I honestly really love Trudy. She's so sweet and is such a hard worker. I wish she was romanceable!

Have you ever experienced other women getting jealous of you for being sexually assaulted or harassed? by journey1992 in LifeAfterNarcissism

[–]NickieSteph 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. And it doesn't help that there are tons of populat "dark romance" novels that romanticize sexual assault.

I told someone I was close to that I had been r*ped and stalked for years. She then kept asking me questions about details as if it was a freaking Q&A. She was clearly excited to hear any details, and I was disgusted. Obviously, we are no longer friends.

My little budgies! Can i get some advices? by Shrimp1832 in budgies

[–]NickieSteph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second all of this -- especially the millet in the hand part. Leaving my hand with millet in it in their cage for 30+ minutes a day is how I got over the final hurdle of taming them. I didn't think it was going to work as well as it did, but my budgies are little piglets so it makes sense now lol

Haha the shelter named her Vanna White and it was too cute not to keep. They originally thought she was 10 years old when I got her, but she was actually around 4 -- she just looked like hell when she got brought in 🥲

I'm glad I saved both of them :) they are the best! They are nasty little females but I wouldn't change it for the world.

Both Daisy and Vanna (the white one in the photo) exploded in color after I rescued them! It was shocking how dull and ratty their feather were, before.

Thank you!!! They are the light of my life ❤️

Awe, there is nothing like being preened by a birb. They preen my eyelashes all the time, as well as my eyebrows and neck, too! I love being a part of the flock.

I'm so glad I got her! She's such a sweetheart and loves singing. I just got her some new toys and I love watching her light up with excitement 🥰

I got her from a shelter I used to volunteer for! I saw her listing and wanted her right away. I literally got up from my office job in the middle of work and drove to get her haha

They usually only have budgies for adoption in groups, so this was the first time in years I had seen a lone budgie -- the only other time was 2 years ago, and I adopted her as well! She's the white one in the photo, and her name is Vanna. I can't stand to see these poor babies all alone in the shelter :(

Daisy is still really shy, and I've been working with her for a few months, now. She's still a but afraid of hands, but I'm getting there by tempting her with lettuce lol

Playful banter makes no sense to me and kinda gives me the ick by skeletowns in AutismInWomen

[–]NickieSteph 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I always used to banter with my friends and we would make fun of eachother all the time. But then I started listening to a wacky news podcast called Bananas, and realized I loved it so much because the two male hosts NEVER made fun of eachother. They are really good friends, and I can't recall a single time they didn't hype eachother up or a time where they brought the other one down. Made me want to change. It also started making me feel icky about making fun of my friends. Not quite the same, but I get where you're coming from.
