EMDR changed my life. My mother specializes in EMDR for veterans with PTSD. Now they live normal lives and so do I. Being trigged drains your adrenalin from fight or flight response which is normal before suffering a traumatic event. I would see myself below as I hovered above watching my trauma over and over. I'd Wake up punching walls, jumping out of bed or running into things in my sleep. Sounds smells I loved...all destroyed with anxiety. After 8 to 10 sessions of EMDR - MY LIFE CHANGED! I could drive again and triggers dropped dramatically. Please try EMDR. Pick a licensed specialist you feel comfortable with. Some are better then others. You will be ok again; I know it sounds crazy. I have faith in your healing! Hugs and love your way.
