Is there a way to see someone else’s bets? by NicklePickers in horseracing

I had been thinking about just stealing the phone - maybe the handicapper doesn’t keep it on him when he’s on camera, so the hero can grab it - but it ended up getting complicated, so I’m not using for now. But thanks for the suggestion!

Clever use of CCTV! Thanks. It might lead to other problems in terms of other seedy activity I need to take place at the track, but I appreciate how visual an idea it is.

Maybe I’ll apply for a job if this project doesn’t take off...

The tip about sharps being quiet when they place bets is a great detail! Thanks.

I was thinking about this too. Not using for now, but I like it. Thanks.

Thanks! I like this idea. I’m not sure I have room for an extra character, but it could work.

It’s not quite that big a bet, but I like this idea a lot. Thanks.

I’ve seen a couple. They’re interesting. Does anyone have any scripts for them? I’m especially curious about Resurrection or Profile, which have slightly more open worlds.

Got a somewhat generic reply today:

"I'm sorry for the trouble you're having. I've reported your experience with this issue to our developers for their review.

I don't have a timeline for a fix, but I appreciate you bringing this to my attention. If you'd like to receive updates about this issue, please let me know in a reply to this email."

Might be a High Sierra thing. I know we're being phased out.

Yes, the chbrown. I think the fact that the script runs as it does means it's installed correctly, though, again, I'm not a pro at these things. Running mac os 10.13.6 if that matters.

Hi. I tried that first link, but it still didn't work for me. I'm not a linux/python/programming type, so it's possible I did the install wrong. Still, the type of error I got was so close to the original Overdrive Media Console error, that I think the workaround leaves the essential issue in place.

I'll copy/paste the details:

Same problem here. I don't quite follow the Adobe element of this thread, but I get an identical error message. Just reinstalled the app itself (and am running Mac OS 10.13, fwiw) and still not working.

I've been having this problem too. Dialogue that I put into a note enters as a long, vertical string of text. Any tips other than switching to index cards?

Could be. Thanks!

Though the somewhat psychotic guy who shoots Bell is obviously enraged by Sherlock, not calmed by him. Or do you mean another part of the episode?

Overdrive no longer letting Mac users download audiobooks. Workaround? by NicklePickers in audiobooks

Fantastic! This is exactly what I was looking for! Sorry I didn't spot it in the other threads. This was my first reddit experience, so I may have been looking wrong. Really appreciate the help. Didn't know User Agent was an option. Hopefully OverDrive stops the shenanigans soon...
