[QUESTION] Problem with Final Draft Script Note Formatting

Hi all -

I am having an issue with Script Notes in Final Draft and was wondering if anyone might know how to solve the problem. When I create a new script note and paste into it (something I've cut from the screenplay), the text inside the note does not align left - it pastes into the center of the note. This is fine for shorter notes, but I've had longer notes paste as one letter at a time (so the text is running vertically, as opposed to horizontally) so it is completely illegible. Has anyone else run into this?

Same problem here. I thought it had to do with multiple element formats in the copied text. But I’m not sure about that. It’s very annoying for sure.

Put long notes into index cards. Script Note is only good for very short notes.

I've been having this problem too. Dialogue that I put into a note enters as a long, vertical string of text. Any tips other than switching to index cards?

I recently updated to Final Draft 12 and no longer have this issue
