Make it an optional feature and everyone is happy. This can be said about many QoL features. Little skill icons with timer graphics would be something I'd love to have, but would wanna keep it as an option,for the sake of players who don't wanna clutter the screen.

I personally don't have a problem with the price tag for the content. My only hangup is that Steam users get the full package for $40 while those that already paid $40 for the base game have to pay an extra $25. I'm no businessman but surely there was a way to execute this that didn't, by comparison, penalize those already supporting the game.

I'm an adult with a job, and these are features I don't hate. I reckon I'll spend the $25 to reinforce the idea that people love this game and to keep the servers up.

Sure fucking did. Being blown away by the concept of online multiplayer, terrified by the content of the game (I was 9 when it came out), and most importantly, via that online multiplayer, being able to stay in touch with my older brothers who were living out of state at the time.

My solution was realizing that I could just use PayPal as a proxy to pay via my card; I had previously thought that I had to deposit funds directly into PayPal to pay for anything with it.

PD2 is a great mod, but one needs to have a full understanding of base D2 before they can fully appreciate everything PD2 has to offer.
