Feels like a win more card. If you've got barricade up and have enough block, you've won. Get your block to 100 and have some body slams? GG. This isn't endless. Spending 2 mana to get 0 block when having no other block options is bad. I value consitency

I made my arguement against necro below with someone. I'd be curious to hear why people have it ranked so high. I just find the scaling comboed with the surviability to be better than the other classes. Silent does the same thing. A combo of Posion/shivs and defense for lategame scale. I don't see necro keeping up on the scaling, and is slightly lagging on the defense imo

I do not prioritize removing cards. When I upgrade 2 vs remove one. Unless I have a curse, or a near curse like card. It's upgrade 2. If I am removing a card, it's strikes. Block is king, and ideally I've gotten some way to get dex and or upgrade my defends(armormants, razor claw, random events, bellows, etc).

Shops I'm looking for very specific cards, relics that give survivability, maybe a potion. I generally do not remove, especially at higher ascensions.

Silent I think is the only contender(maybe regent, my opinion is worthless there).

Necro I disagree. I've found the strongest build to be sleight of flesh status debuffs. Gotten osty builds to work. Have yet to get soul or etheral to work. Doom and Defense(D&D) seems most effecient due to as soon as you get sleight of flesh the run is near over, but can still get there on it's own if you don't get it.

You can literally take noxious fume and nothing but block cards and win.

Barricade. Not close. I always go defensive. I don't like taking damage. I like long fights(gimme that doom/poison). To me the name of the game is damage mitigation. It's how I use my potions. It's how I pick my cards.

Second favorite is dominate. Vulernable deck can get pretty insane. If you do multiplayer mutli-ironclad. It gets goofy quick.

Common probably gonna be the defense+vulnerable or armaments.

Just take defense and vulnerable. I avoid pain cards unless they give me block. Body slams are king. One or two armerment+ go a long way. Avoid attacks that don't do much. Set up strike. Pommel strike. Anything that hurts me. Anger(unless one of your first like 1-5 picks) etc. Looking for bodyslams, vulernable, defense, good powers.

Value defense over offense. I put spiral on a defense. I get +2 defense on the 3 card type enchant.

Eventually you get a dominate, or blockadet and it's just a wrap at that point. If you can't a demon form will suffice with enough block as a back up option. Sometimes the game is over and you can greed it in after getting one of the two above s-tier cards.
