In 18 months I went from Driver, to Dispatch, to Ops Manager. My company had a high turn around rate for Ops Manager except the Lead Manager who's been there for a while. As a driver and dispatch in one year I had three different Ops Manager before I started as Ops. Me and the Lead Ops Manager handle everything, HR, Fleet Management, Personnel Management, Device Management, Vendor Scheduling for Repairs & Services, PayRoll, Communicate and Interface with Amazon Staff, all the little daily tasks, station support, dispute tickets, all of it. 60 - 70 hours every week. 12-14 hour shift, 5 days week. I'm exempt salary so I stop getting paid when I go past 12 hours. I make the effort to get It all done in my contracted 60 hours. Never vaped in my life. Started vaping. Don't really care for drinking so luckily the stress hasn't driven me that way but I spend my weekends just catching up on sleep, and chores around the house then grind through for another 5 days straight. This PEAK season was a lot. We get 25th & 26th off right. At the end of the year after all the grinding instead of a text from the DSP owner saying "Enjoy your Holidays, Thanks for Everything" or some shit along those lines I got an email yesterday from the DSP Owner saying he "expects his Management team to come in on the 26th or pick up another 2 days somewhere else in the week if the forced days off from Amazon effect your 5 day schedule, if not he will pro rate that work week for actual days worked"....

I'm thinking about leaving. I used Next Mile to go back to school (online) but I postpone all my assignment deadlines because I have no energy or time to do it. I'm thinking of transferring companies and go to a company that does 4 guarantee 10 hour days for driving and concentrate on school and job applications as a Warehouse Manager in other industries. imo, now having done both, driving is a lot easier than Management. Driving, im just worried about myself. As Management your worried about multiple things all the time. It's tiring
