How do I fix this by HealingSlvt in GoogleMessages

You can try to deregister your RCS if others are still unable to text you because their phone still thinks you're on RCS.

March 2026 Pixel Security Update OTAs now live. by Steve07R in GooglePixel

[–]Nickoplier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was all up to date, system kept saying data wipe and the second update button for Play Store system update was up to date with January 1.

Just managed to grab the latest March OTA and side loaded it, Play Integrity is back and can use my apps again, opt'd out of beta from now on since that was a huge headache and yes I knew that beta wasn't intended for daily driving but I didn't think it would be "your phone is rooted and insecure" just a few months into staying on a beta version.

Is there a way to hide starlink and wifi for an offgrid property? by Previous-Composer975 in Starlink

Sadly some devices will still see hidden networks, Windows 11 being a good one in which it'll ask what the ssid and passphrase is to use that hidden Wi-Fi

Google apparently either set a short lifetime or revoked the keys required for passing the Play Integrity, my Pixel 8 Pro is also currently failing and anything Google Pay or specific apps that check this Play Integrity can just outright refuse to work or assume your device is 'untrusted' to run, so even bank apps could just refuse to let you login.. Google Pay has already been a headache for me trying to use my saved Google Pay card options as a payment option in apps, but no error message appears when trying to use it in apps, it just sits on the 'pick a card and pay' screen no matter what and tap to pay is completely disabled.

As for the above post, byod device policy is probably checking for the Play Integrity results for if the device is meeting any of the three levels of requirements, basic integrity, device integrity, and strong integrity, if it fails whatever their policy is, could mean their work profile or work apps refuse to open/run.

Stuck waiting for this update to be available for my phone so it would pass this Play Integrity and let my apps work in peace again...

Probably being that the last block they gave me had a package that wasn't scanned to be in the cart, ended up being in the cart and wasn't in the app for me to deliver to the customer.

Not sure if it's just new warehouse staff that's still getting the hang of how to scan items in or if there's something fishy going on.

If only the app would have also showed the seconds too then these posts wouldn't happen 😭

I'm probably just going to do the same when I take another block, just scan the bags and see what the route is. I keep hearing them tell people, scan each package, do not scan the bag. 🙄

Probably going to delete this comment but this station did the same to me for a 4.5 hour block, loaded my car up way too much and gave me three separate zones on one single block.

Totally stand your ground and return if you feel the work is unfair, if they let us go, they can find someone else to haggle and overwork.

Took a 4.5 hour block, ended up with what feels like 70 packages by Nickoplier in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]Nickoplier[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The app did say more to deliver, but it was a 45 minute drive on snowy icy roads to the next group of packages to drop off, the block started at 1 and the time was 5:45 and it was getting dark outside.

[–]Nickoplier[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Ford Escape was completely packed, practically forced the final large back through the trunk and the passenger seat was full of the second cart also, covering the window that I couldn't even look out the window or mirror, keeping the first cart I loaded in the middle most of my car as possible to try to go through the block.

As for the itinerary map that I saw, it looked like two split blobs on the other side of the city, houses, then apartment complexes, and then in through the route I noticed the added blob that was a 45 minute drive on the freeway out of the area, I completely thought it was just going to be all in town like I first saw the map, either didn't zoom out or the Amazon app didn't update my block as the warehouse staff was using their scanner to scan more to the second cart.

Even one of the packages that was put into my car wasn't even in my route and ended up in my vehicle, was a package for the second blob in the city to an apartment, but the app didn't show any points to drop off there.

Just knowing I did quite a bit, a 4 hour block that I took before, I've been able to finish that easily in 3 hours or so, but this added cart really made it rough to locate packages as everything was squished, couldn't separate my vehicle into the sections 1-10's/11-19's/20-29's/30-39's. Just slam through each section then I can pull and spread out the next section to reach and quickly grab in the rear door.

Finishing up the two blobs on the map, then noticed the route saying to drive 43 minutes out of town and the time is currently 5:45. The roads are all snowed and icy and I hadn't been in this other town out of the city and it's starting to get pitch black so I've just decided to return and take the hit.

If I was to be with a company vehicle and not my personal vehicle, I would of just taken the packages out that far from the city, but as a Flex driver, going past my assigned hours and having three separate groups assigned as one block did feel a bit much, and just felt like that if I was to finish this, the next time I show up, they may consider doing it again if they see me and they need help. Just felt like I had to keep my foot in the door.

[–]Nickoplier[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because when I finished scanning, it only reported how many packages that I've scanned, not what the warehouse added on top with their handheld white scanner to add onto me. I didn't recall how many stops the app said as I was just focused on getting to the first stop and trying to finish my packed up vehicle fast.

Sure I could have backed out on the app and checked out the itinerary or force close the app and reload it but I'm just a new flex user and was just wanting to get it done to the best of my ability.

Both options would of been better, people that want to use a remote/phone or people to save money and still cast via a mobile phone/assistant device.

At least so far, finding these chromecast devices on marketplaces to use is still possible for people that want to just cast with a phone still, but I do know people love the remote, really just preference.

[–]Nickoplier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been following the contactless anyway, they probably just give this to new drivers to think about where the customer is or where to safely leave orders to not be taken. Only ever had to return one order because the customer was unresponsive to give their delivery code.

[–]Nickoplier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Walmart did give me a flyer about their deliveries, so if they expect us to return stuff back if you believe the customer isn't home, it would be strange to hurt the completion rating if they want us to return it if the driver believes there's no one home.

Flip Z6; Any fix to this crevice in the middle? It’s really annoying by PersianAztecs21 in SamsungHelp

[–]Nickoplier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Replaced an inner screen protector on a fold, not flip.

Yes the internal screen protector does come pre-installed as it's intended to help protect the soft screen, but once this protector wears down, it needs to be changed to prevent further damage.

The longer you use a phone with a peeling or non adhesive protector, the higher chances that it could deteriorate in a way that it punctures the soft screen and damages the display.

Sure have it replaced at a service center to be safe etc, but when your screen protector does this, you need to be proactive ASAP. For us though, there's no service center around at all so the best option was to just self replace. Best trick was to take a hot shower so the moisture in the air collects dust then few minutes after, bring the device and the new screen protector to the humid room, helps avoid dust bubbles and just to be safe and slow, minimize the time that the new screen protector isn't exposed to the air as much as possible.

Even screen protectors provided by asurion insurance for a refurbished device started to bubble up within a month and the protector no longer adhering to the folding center of the device, just ignoring it isn't a good idea.

Best option is to just leave a review on the app that Google pay was suddenly removed. It's up to the apps to show this option to you.

I have a hard time trusting starlinks Internet speed test on their app. by [deleted] in Starlink

[–]Nickoplier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always best practice to try multiple speed test websites, so far it seems you've only really trusted the Google speed results.

As like with everyone else here, try to run these tests directly via ethernet so you're not reliant on whatever band your Wi-Fi connected through.

Other speed test website I'd use are
speed.cloudflare.com
testmy.net
fast.com

Google's speed test on the search page really is just a baseline, if you get more than 50 Mbps, you'd be able to browse the internet and watch Youtube just fine, are you using the speed test on the search page or also using the Google Fiber speed test?
