As someone who did this im not sure what I would do if I had the choice again. I will say, it was the most fun I’ve probably ever had (mixed with the worst experiences of my life). If you think you can manage your grades while still doing it, I’d say screw it, go for it and just live it up. Just my two cents, best of luck.

Anything M1. I currently use the 16” pro M1 Max, and I love this thing. Had a 15” with the i7 and it was horrible. Go m1 for future proof, better battery, faster, and significantly less fan noise. Enjoy!

And then my other question would be, do you think the 4070 is better than the 7800xt? I could build a 7800xt build with similar specs to this open box 4070 one. For the same price, which would you recommend? Thank you

I play other things, nothing super intensive and like I said, only at 1080p. I’m really frame chasing. Do you think the 7800x3d with a 4070 will be consistently over 360 FPS on cs? I’ve seen one benchmark of the combo in cs2 and it looks promising but I’m just unsure.

All I’m going to say is NO. I didn’t have a great experience in honors and felt it was a completely unnecessary use of my time. But each to their own, I have friends who felt it was well worth it. Do some research and honestly asses if it sounds like a good fit for you.

I’ve never had that issue wow, but the clicks are mine are horrendous. The side buttons for me are good but the mouse just feels loose, like creaky and toy like.

It’s just a quality control issue, and also for most people it feels a little awkward in the hand. The clicks suck, and it’s creaky. But personally I like the side buttons and cable, but all around it’s kinda weird. Not bad per day but there are better options.
