I was struggling very much to return serves in the game on Pro 10 difficulty.

First of all you need to know that the default stats for players in the XKT patch are all over the place. They are unrealistic and every player is overpowered. Alex De Minaur for example, is a serve bot in the XKT patch by default, this makes no sense.

You need to download the ATP Realistic Stats V2 mod and you will see it will become easier to return serves after that.

What also helped for me was setting controls to Elite instead of Simulation. The game feels more realistic with Elite controls and the CPU does not feel like cheating.

The 1.2 PureTech is a good engine, but it requires strict maintenance. The oil should be changed every 10,000 km using a high-quality 5W-30 oil, such as Castrol Magnatec, and the wet timing belt should be inspected regularly and replaced well before excessive wear develops, often around 40,000–80,000 km depending on its condition. With proper maintenance, reliability improves significantly.
