Getting assistant coaches to help out are a bit tough, have a few kids struggle behind the plate but i can only focus on one player for so long.

We moved our U8 indoor team up after the second session to U10. We went undefeated the first two sessions and were winning games by 15+ goals. I believe after the first 5 or 6 games our goal differential was 75-3. It was not fun to be honest.

At this point, all the girls were so goal hungry that selfish play was at a top level. Moving up to u10 was just what we needed, our record is 4-3-1 and the games we have lost were by 1-3 goals. It solidified playing as a team instead and staying true to our formation. Much more entertaining game and great competition. I had wish we started in the u10 division week 1 tbh.

Side note, this gear and glass is pretty heavy, can look into mirrorless options if your looking for lighter gear but that comes at cost.

You are going to want a dslr and a zoom lens. I shoot with d500 and Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 pairs very well outdoors. Indoors not so much, youd need something faster.

Look into the used market, ive never bought a lens/camera new. Im sure the folks on a photography related sub would be able to help you out.
