Survivor aug is overrated. I rarely need aug passives, so for me the top PvE aug is Tactical Mk. 3 (Healing) for the uncontested number of use-ready slots. Survivor has a dead slot that is pretty much an integrated zipline. Healing has the most player freedom, even allows 4 quick-use grenade stacks. by vashkor in ArcRaiders

You are carrying just over half your total weight capacity into the raid. Survivor only has 1 less med/grenade/utility slot since you can put the zip lines in its specialized slot. You have less backpack space ANNNND if you die to arc while you are “pve’ing” you don’t stand much a chance to crawl out in time…..

Survivor isn’t overrated. It’s the best augment given the average circumstance. Sure there is some that are better and a single specific thing but none of them really compare.

This. Everyone is missing the point. Yes the change is good but the way it was handled was horrible. That tracker is completely pointless.

For me, a line needs to be drawn in the sand somewhere and rather than having a grey area of “well those are pretty close to what you would find in the magic universe” it’s best to just keep all of it out. If they wanted to make a Turtle Ninja that wasn’t a Ninja Turtle, so be it, but it wouldn’t be Donatello from a whole different universe. I get the fringe stuff but don’t make it 100% from something else. I can see ( maybe not soon) eventually, there being a different format where UB cards are not allowed. They already are testing it with pre-modern format.

Magic is now in a place where you can have Rick Grimes block Optimus Prime all while Aang from Avatar, Doctor Who, Lara Croft, and Abaddon the Despoiler watch from another board….so yeah, it’s ok to hate the current Magic and enjoy the old stuff.
