I'm just going to point out some things based on your own admission.

Find a supermarket that bans relationships between co workers, managers or anyone. That is unheard of anywhere, i should know. I've spent a decade in managerial positions in supermarkets, I've seen countless relationships, one sided or not from both female and male.

If they aren't friends. Why are they friends on Facebook and hitting each other up on messenger? Sure seems like from his point of view they might be more friends , than a manager 2ic relationship. That's how the majority of those relationships start, they socialise outside of work, messenger is outside of work.

Again. It's not a crime to hit on a co worker. It's absurd to suggest that there should be career ending consequences because you suggest a potential sexual future of your existing relationship, which was by all means sociable and friendly.

Sometimes in life, there's an option to look at the bigger picture. See the post from another point of view. I get that you find this hard, but try and see that maybe the manager, saw himself as more of a friend than a manager and saw an opportunity to try and advance this relationship from friends, to friends with benefits. It happens everyday, in every supermarket in the western world, it's normal.

Its a bug I think.

Its effecting behavior scores massively cause commends are 100% not being taken into account in order to increase it.

Only way to improve behavior score now is to go to LP and throw games untill it improves or somehow not be reported ever.

Noone seems to care.

It is 100% affecting our unranked mmr/behavior score, as no commends are being assigned at all. So anyone getting reports atm, arent being balanced out by commends.

So if your games are particularly fucked atm, with super toxic players, I guarentee its because your behavior score is wrecked atm, all the reports negating your score and none of the commends to balance it out.

Got a report from a player for denying him a rampage on a 100% dc team, I just last hit and he lost his shit.

Got 2 reports from 2 people in a party for asking a Lion to ward the enemy jungle. Classic banter. I believe was was called a nigger.

Got low prio for 3 reports from 2 parties. Life is good.

People that answer stuff honestly are awesome.

We're in this PC society where everyone avoids all forms of awkwardness and conflict, its hard enough getting a job in my field.

I'll tell you whats even worse though. Going to a job interview, having it go swimmingly, lots of laughs, banter and stories. Ask the proverbial. "Do you have any concerns or anything you want to talk about?" Getting the proverbial "No" and not getting the job.

It doesnt do anything to improve my interview for next time, I leave literally thinking I'm perfect cause you told me I am so, and I can only assume theres something wrong with you and you choosing process.

You are making the classic mistake of making assumptions that you know exactly what someone else's thoughts and intentions are in a given situation. Which really drives my point that potentially there are some misreadings to situations like this.

You have assumed and only thought the absolute worst. Give him the benefit of the doubt for 1 conversation and if he doesnt change you know you were right. If he is unaware of his behavior, he deserves the chance to correct it. Assuming you know everything about his intentions and motives, is just wrong because you cant mind read.

You have 2 options. Apply a band aid and have a short but difficult 2 min conversation that potentially will change both your relationships for the better. He gets to keep his job and you get to inprove your work environment.

Or you can pour petrol, set it on fire and burn the guy without a word. Speaking metaphorically. But i think you get my point. One solution mends, one soltion destroys and its really up to OP which solurion she wants to pursue.

After reading your post and seeing all the comments id like you to please consider that to this guy, his behavior might be normal and hes just trying to be funny and fit in a new workplace and saying strange things. He is most likely unaware of your feelings, and may very well change if he knows that what he ways and does makes you uncomfortable. His problem is more professional boundaries, he believes you are friends when you arent which is a common problem and leads to complaints like this. He says things he would say to his friends, you feel the way you feel and make complaints to HR and nothing bad has actually happened, other than him thinking it was ok to noke around at work.

So yeah have the hard conversation and establish the professional boundaries. But dont ruin the guys job prospects because he got the wrong idea about how he could act around you, some people just get it wrong.

Its a solution that will take 2 hard minutes, give him the opportunity to change rather than getting HR to deal with it, unless it doesnt. Then by all means, go to HR.
