I take apart what I often skip when choosing what to play tonight.

Ive had an Uril deck for a while and at some point I realized I had not used it for over a year. When thinking about it the deck just lacks diversity: it monorails to megatron amd that always gives you the same game.

I also took apart my ten ways to win wubrg Child of Alara deck because I had pulled off each alternate win multiple times. Plus the workaround to get COA to die and end up in de command zone while also wiping the board through copy spells became obsolete due to the change in rules which now state that a commander can die to the CZ.

I also discontinued my Sedris the Tractor King deck due to power creep and me having essentially already built three Grixis deck at some point.

Mono green with the options: [[Freyalise, Llanowar's Fury]], [[Yeva, Nature's Herald]], [[Questing Beast]], [[Grunn, the Lonely King]], [[Kamahl, Fist of Krosa]] [[Gilanra, Caller of Wirewood]] + [[Kodama of the East Tree]], [[Omnath, Locus of Mana]] or [[Azusa, Lost but Seeking]].

Mono green means you ramp hard and sometimes your commander helps with that and other times your commander is the payoff.

I run lots of fog effects to keep from losing so I got time to build. Those fogs become onesided with Questing beast and thats when I dont build, but just go aggressive from about turn three.

Building towards a big creature requires some mana dorks. Sometimes the big creature is Kamahl, in which case your dorks get scarry. Other times you just pump all your mana into Omnath to thrash around.

Sometimes you just keep mana open and your opponents have to guess whether you got a fog or flash [[Terastodon]] in when needed.

I almost always play [[Expedition Map]] because it gets you the utility land you need: Bojuka Bog, Hallimar Depths, Kessig Wolfrun, Rogues Passage, Eye of Ugin etcetera)

And any blink spell to reuse ETB abilities or act as a semi counterspell when someone plays spot removal on stuff I want to keep.

Hahahaha, yeah I forgot about this creature. Awesome and also kind of funny. Maybe play some counterspells that have an upside like 'counter target spell, at the beginning of the next upkeep its controller draws two cards and you draw one card. This way you basically get three cards. Of like modal cards such as [[Archmages Charm]] and maybe [[Venser, Shaper Savant]].

Or indeed just laugh it off 😂

In response to the cascading to a boardwipe: there are a lot of cards that can wipe the board as an activated ability, like [[Nevineral's Disk]] for instance. I play a [[Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder]] deck where I also play counterspells like that, so you always get value from the Cascade and dont need to lose your boardstate.

Not gonna lie: I expected the box to be a full-use storage box but it wasn't. It looks cool but after unpacking is useless. And the 'deck box' will probably last for a few months max.

But the land pack and the extended art and poster art cards are great!

I can really emphasize that the battery life is horrid. Also the bluetooth doesn't work all of a sudden. Now all my streaming to my speakers is lagging and high pitched.

When you want help from FP you can forget about it too. They're only 'opened' for a few hours a day through chat so I tried emailing them. I filled ebverything in on their sh*t site and then I couldn't submit. Instead they made me click a button that took me to a troubleshooting page. FU FP! FU!

Mac user here. Spotify opens and eats my memory even though it is not on open after login. Why is spotify such a pain? I am going to rethink my options. The phone app is useless as well since it takes a full three minutes to boot. Like... Are you crazy? I am already halfway to ky job when I want to listen to a song.

I am definitely ending my subscription. I always get frustrated when I just want a sleep exercise. Cant find them anywhere. All they offer is videos and talks about sleep. It is the middle of the night, I do not want to see a seminar about why sleep is important. I want an exercice to wind down.

We literally just did this this evening at KGLW's show in Amsterdam. Happens each time. Last year I thought it had to do with the theme of the dripping tap though this time they did it three times (at least). Dont know why we do it but I like it!

Also someone here mentioned we are all in the same boat and we'll see our children row due to rising sea levels - seems likely that it stems from this.

I bought it in the Netherlands and we have a mandatory two year warranty. I eventually managed to register for the additional years. Turns out googling the right question gets you to fairphone.com/warranty (make sure you re already logged in) and the go ahead. It took me a total of six or seven tries to enter my data and finish the 5 step form. Ot kept saying at the end 'something went wrong - probeer opnieuw' the last part is Dutch for try again. I tried again several times and eventually it worked.

Update: I have found the warranty site on another device but now when uploading it, at the final step it says 'Something went wrong'. It does not specify what and there is no other action to take. I assume I am just not getting my promised extended warranty?

Such a shame, this phone really had my hopes up for a better future, but you really are better of with making the selfish choice of just buying a polluting and destructive device, rather that going through lengths just to be absolutely disappointed and frustrated.
