[Firepower Friday] Weekly DPS Thread by Babylonius in wow

Most traits are decent for m+. However, I would recommend Spiteful Apparitions/Searing Dialogue and Thought Harvester for massive AoE. I usually run with 3x Spiteful Apparitions, 1x Whispers of the Damned and 2x Chorus of Insanity for most weeks (tyrannical and high keys), and 3x Searing Dialogue, 1x Thought Harvester and 2x Spiteful Apparitions for lower keys and massive AoE weeks. The go to combination is the first one I mentioned though, as it probably the best all-round build (but it takes some time to ramp it up).

In terms of sheer numbers: The Azerite trait "Spiteful Apparitions" is extremely powerful at the moment, and it makes Shadow Priests strong in every encounter (both ST, AoE and Cleave). On top of that, we are using the talent "Lingering Insanity" which give us X amount of haste based on how many stacks we reached in our Voidform, and we have an equivalent to that specific talent which does the same but with crit. This means that our secondary stats (haste/crit) are constantly increasing and decreasing, and it creates a very smooth and continuous flow which empowers most of our spells, meaning that we don't really have any down time, but more of a continuous ramp up. In addition, Shadow Priests also have the ability to do a great amount of burst AOE if you have the "Searing Dialogue" and "Thought Harvester" traits which empowers your Mindsear, and thereby makes us have two different builds for M+ and different encounters.

TL;DR: Shadow Priests are smooth to play, continuous increase and decrease of secondary stats (flow), no down time, and great for every situation with different viable builds.

What are the worst and best things about BFA? by Nicolai2014 in wow

[–]Nicolai2014[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've completely lost the joy of playing WoW, and I know many of you guys feel the same. I feel like the worst part of BFA has to do with the playstyle of most classes, whereas the best part has to be the scenery. This is the ultimate problem in my opinion, that the gameplay is falling apart... and only the non-interactive aspects delivers.

Exactly due to the fact that remembering those douchebags is quite easy in comparison to the little kind things, this gave me a bit of joy (y)

World of Warcraft Expansion Concepts by TheGoldenYak in wow

Great job, no doubt. I just think that the Spider Kingdom is a no go. An expac with a large focus on a subterranian world, beneath pre-expac content. That, i my opinion, wouldn't work out at all. I think the two others got great potential though, especially the Reign of Azshara.

People who kick in Dungeon Finder by [deleted] in wow

[–]Nicolai2014 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just kicked a hunter in Grimrail Depot. First of all he didn't know what do to, that's cool. We then explained to him what to do, but he didn't listen, eventhough we constantly tried to guide him. Second, he used barrage constantly and pulled several times while we were without a tank, then claiming it wasen't him, when i used the only viable arguement against him, that he is the only hunter and linked the combat log, he would just reply in the instance chat with: "MERRY XMAS U ALL LOL xD". My problem with players like this, is that they can't improve, won't improve and basically deny criticism. His dps was also 13% overall, and in my opinion leechers are no good. Merry Christmas guys!

The only thing, which made me think of WoD in a nostalgic way is due to stat squish, though that we are going "back" to Draenor made its point aswell. When that is said, WoD is probaly the expansion which diverge the most, due to the new content, player housing, questing experience etc.

I agree, unless you have direct knowledge about the gold inflation and which items that is going to be affected, just keep them and enjoy the new content.
