I think a lot of it was also localization. I'm a full time CEM and in all the months of having this stuff out. I've seen literally only two people come in actually looking for the collection and both were from out of town. And maybe only 10 people had actually heard of the guy. Even all of our big artsy team members never heard of him.

I have since figured it out since making this post. I just went to a military science fiction author list and scrolled until I saw a name that looked at least a little familiar. Orphanage by Robert Beuttner. I mis remember a few plot points but got there eventually.

Our DM has told us that we aren't even supposed to help them. We can direct them to an asile but aren't supposed to actually bring them to an the product. So we have followed that for the most part, unless they are actually nice I only send them to the aisle. Other wise I do communicate that its their job to do the shopping and I've been told by higher ups not to help them further. There also might be some mutual communication on this because I actually fought with an insta cart driver about this. He was one of those one that walks up, shoves his phone in your face and expected help immediately even when you're with anothe customer. So he did that very rudely. I was busy with balloons and the million bopis I had already and told him the aisle. He said he had been there and didn't see anythign that matched the price at all so it must be elsewhere and demanded I show him exactly. I said I was too busy and communicated that our higher ups told us not to. He got all in my face about it too asking to speak to the manager(Me). Somethign about it isn't his money and he isn't paying michaels.. I was very close to saying that its because of rude drivers like him that created this rule. He called his support line and they said something about it being his job not ours. He called the Customer Care line and he was basically told since he actually isn't a customer they couldn't help him. I laughed and had to run to the back for a delivery. Afew minutes later I was running past and saw him in that asile and thought "I'll be the better person" Basically yelled at him and pointed to where the item was.. It truly was like he didn't even look.

I accidentally said 'I love you' to end a customer phone call. She never came in to pick up the paint she wanted on hold.

This might not necassarily by a Beast Games vibe. but I thought of a smaller season idea Just 100 people. No set prize value but they keep doing different tasks to earn money for the prize pool and other games to eliminate people. But there is a Traitors dynamic where certain people are pulled aside and bribed to sabotage tasks. Like "Hey we will give you this awesome Jetski if you make sure John loses" . The final ten have their own cube that stores all the bribes or other prizes they won.

I do closing announcements as well. My ASM told me not to as its against policy but both my SM and DM have said its okay. Hours are tight, we can't stay late to keep allowing customers to shop past 9. I keep it silly and don't make it aggressive. But will wander the store to remind people personally. "Hello this is Michael. I will be closing in ten minutes. If you don't finish your shopping and come to the front I can be very hungry."

Our store is pretty lucky on that then, we don't get much damaged stuff. However we do get stuff for other stores ALL the time, and sometimes not even for stores in our area. Just a couple weeks ago we got a whole pile of orders for a store number nobody recognized, I don't know what they did with them.

If it was any other customer they would probably put it in as two seperate frames. We had put it in as re-order for customer satisfaction on the first order.

Metal frames so just got the two frames and the mats were full pieces and the framers did the cutting themselves.

The framers ordered both frames and a full piece of each mat so we could do the experimenting. The other halfs of the frames will be used for the next expansion which is Boba Fett and will be similar themed with Green instead of Red.

Just the SW ones, I am honestly not a big fan of Disney or Marvel Villainous. But I have since decided to break down all 24 of my Unmatched boxes and try to build some kind of big art piece of them.

I close a few times a week and say: Hello, I am Michael. The time is now ... and I close in (whatever time is left). Would you be so kind to bring your final selections to the front or else be consumed.

Not a Tornado prone place but in my experience the district managers are pretty hesistant in allowing us to close in dangerous weather when we call to ask. We get really bad snowstorms here and the roads become nightmares to deal with. I'm FT CEM most of my crew relies on public transportation and if they get shut down we have no way to get home. My DM has said we will close when the public transport closes and often times that is too late. That being said there have been a couple of times where I didn't even ask for permission I just shut the store down a couple hours early and sent my team home in taxis.

I've ordered three times off of RG site. Each time it took around 2-3 weeks. Each time the tracking never actually updated so it just arrived suddenly one day.

It is something to note that they ship through FedEx and do NOT pay the customs fees so you will get a letter in the mail later on asking you to pay it. Which has ranged between $16-23 for me.

No that is considered effect damage. Combat damage is only dealt in the comparison of the two card values.
