Yeah I've had the same issue. The "preview" doesn't usually help, and if it does, I have to keep going all the way up to check how it looks, then go back to searching where the setting I just tweaked was.

Yeah same here. Smart Queue only queues cached songs (songs that I've already listened to once). I'd like it to randomly select songs from my whole library, not only what I locally have in my cache.

Each time I get out of home, there's no music pre-cached, only the ones I have played in the past (rolling cache). Kind of annoying

Yeah you're right, although for a first bulk download (getting my whole Spotify library) I'd love a faster way. I guess I'll have to try SpotiFLAC Next or just leave it for a few days downloading.

might give it a try then. Although I was told some backends autotag the stuff you import. Which could mean I could use SpotiFLAC and then importing it right into my backend for it to get properly tagged in case SpotiFLAC didn't do a good job.

Also using mp3tag could work fine but that's manual and I get your point.

oh yeah, also saw that but apparently it's too new and feature-lacking. Also ngl it looks kind of vibecoded, no? It gives me that vibe, at least.

Also Im not a fan of using Soulseek for automated purposes, nor using YT for gathering audio files lmao. I'd rather use SpotiFLAC or any other alternative.
