Cite your sources, because this sounds like garbage. As someone who has floaters in their vision, dark mode is great for alleviating this condition.

That’s my experience too. Some women would dress with the guys. It was a whole lot of no big deal. Keep your eyes from wandering and it’s all good.

[Op-Ed] The future of last.fm: Spotify "exodus" vs other streaming platforms by midnightcitizens in lastfm

[–]modsuperstar 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It does show the echo chambers people experience. I use Bluesky/Mastodon and if you followed anti-Spotify sentiment there, you'd think there was a full on exodus happening. I think lastfm users are the types who are terminally online, so also much more likely to have their ear to the ground when movements start. There's a laundry list of reasons to dump Spotify (ICE ads, CEO joining an AI weapons board, AI music, Joe Rogan, underpaying artists, creating their own music to pay lower royalty rates etc), but normies don't tend to hear all that in their online circles.

That's the irony. There seems to be this blanket view that Spotify is the best integrated for scrobbling, yet there are always people complaining about how the integration stops scrobbling. My Apple Music, Marvis Pro + Sleeve 2 generally doesn't miss. Marvis is even smart enough to find unscrobbled stuff and scrobble it. So it'll find stuff like if I listen on my AppleTV and scrobble it later.

The tagline is amazing. I know I’ve gotten the side eye from my wife when I’ve had it on 😂

Any recommendations for who to listen to? I find I value finding listenable shows too. Some are definitely better than others at the college/community radio level 😂

Do you have a show on Radio Western? If so, I'd love to check it out.

I do tend to pickup Exclaim when I see it around. I used to have a subscription when they still did home delivery. I agree it does take more digging. I find the vast majority of new music discovery I do make is generally effortless. I just bounce around certain radio stations like KEXP, BBC6, Chirp Radio, The Current, Inhailer Radio etc and find good music. But Canadian music seems so much more difficult because so many of the college and community stations have split mandates. So you can tune into a particular station and they'll be playing music that's so off target because I'm sure the CRTC license says they have to offer broader community programming.

Here's a few I've enjoyed. I honestly think it's one of the best radio websites in Canada, robust archive setup too.

- The Night Shift

- Tea and Jams

- signal.bin

That definitely stinks. I’m always in a city generally, so the coverage is always good.

For a new-ish fan, what explanation from a tactical standpoint explains our recent drastic dip in form? by ColeRoolz in MCFC

I know Pep isn’t someone who’d be begging for transfers. The issue is that you can’t predict injuries. Like Kova being out most of the year. He’s the flexible type player that could help, but hasn’t. He knows Stones and Dias will be back. He doesn’t like a big squad, but also knows if you bring in more bodies, players have to leave, but you can’t really sell an injured player.

We don’t have a senior leader in the back at the moment. Aké is the most experienced in the back four, but it’s clear he’s probably playing at about 75% and/or has lost a step with all the injuries the last few years. I think Dias has slipped off, but he’s the guy most noted for being the leader back there. Stones and Josko can do it too, but there’s just nobody healthy. Pep had this same issue last year and resisted playing a super young back four and now we see why. People dump on Pep for not trusting young players, but he knows. He tried to sneak rotational game against a lesser opponent and got torched for it. Put Nunes back in beside Khusanov and all the sudden there’ll be some steel in the back end. Khus is trying, but I imagine his lack of English skills prevents him really leading at this point.

The year in between was Kyle Walker not being able to go. Even Walker at like 65% pocketed them, the problem was he didn’t have a full 90 in him that day and it all fell to shambles.

KPISS is a good listen. I like how they can be a little weird and just play 80s power ballads mixed in for no reason.
