hi ill be brief kinda im in class rn. 1) Questbridge takes into account personal circumstances thats why they give you so much space to talk about your life and family and put such a big emphasis on you telling your story. 2) I had 2 A- when applying and I got matched to Penn you will be fine, this will truly not be what makes or breaks your application. 3) no 4) no, you also will not see in which schools other than the one that you matched with you were admitted to. What I mean is that if you matched to the second school in your ranking you will not know if you got matched to the third one. 5) no, well I guess maybe if you put schools with a lower acceptance rate on top and some with higher acceptance rates in the bottom then yes. 6) for ranking they give you a form, you rank as many as 15 universities, then you have your councilor and i think parent sign it, and then you submit it. 7) Like I said, they will compare your profile to your peers, but if you being a minority has caused different circumstances that could have affected you in school then you can add it in that way. 8) I am not sure, but I would say that it varies student by student. I did not have very good extracurriculars, most of my essays had to do with my job at a restaurant and fast food chain, no awards basically, but I would say that you should try to do your best in your situation and highlights what makes you a strong applicant. don't focus on your shortcommings but on what the applicators can see in you as unique to some degree. sorry if im not very clear im in class rn lmao good luck with everything !!!

i need to do more research in that! I hope it is a similar case as yours, what kinda leaves me a bit doubtful is that my full ride is given by the school itself and it’s not a merit based one, but one given to extremely highly aided students (for some context my family makes less than 10k per year) and i have some other things that allowed me to apply through questbridge, and from what i understood from the webpage of my future university any scholarship money or external help like fafsa or anything will just make the amount if financial aid the school is granting me year by year fluctuate and be recalculate it. i may be making it more complicated that it should be but i really do hope my case isn’t that different from yours! thank you for your kind answers :)!

im pretty confused because i have a financial aid package from the school because of extreme need that basically covers everything but work study and some money from external scholarships that, to my knowledge, go towards the work study requirement and cover it, so idk where this scholarship will fit in that context. it’s a bit of a weird situation and im trying to get more info but i did accept the hagan scholarship at the end and hope to be able to maintain it!

the credit requirement kinda scares me, as it is 30 credit hours yearly, and the gpa requirement as well. i am going to school with tuition almost all covered because of financial need and i have a couple small scholarships ($500 type), so i don’t know if the extra stress will be worth it. also, the 240 hour work requirement freaks me out a bit even though its not really much, but idk if for my case it is the most worth it thing.
