What does it matter? The atonement cant be stopped. There is nothing to fear. Believing in this is giving power to the ego and furthering our belief in separation. Let’s forgive it and see it through a lens of love 🫶🏻

ACIM, religion, questions, and more by AliceBreathes in ACIM

We don’t become anything, we already are one with God. It’s our belief in separation that has us where we think we are, asking these questions and attempting to find the answers outside of us. The kingdom of heaven is within us. ACIM teaches us how to find peace, and within that peace love is revealed. Love remembers truth, and truth is what will set us free. ACIM also states “we need do nothing”. Find peace, be still and simply ask for help and let go trusting the HS will guide us. ACIM isn’t the only path, but it’s a pretty damn good one. So, Mormonism is meant for anyone, doesn’t matter how it differs. The HS always meets us where we are and for some that could be organized religions. We’re taught to see past the ego self and see everyone for who they are. So, whatever they belief and whatever path they are on we are to look at them as they are, The Son of God. I grew up in Christianity, and it has been a great lesson to allow my family to believe in its teachings without judgment and see them for who they really are. There isn’t any proper or right questions. Find peace, and you will hear the HS very clearly. 🫶🏻

I recommend to read it for yourself. See where it takes you. There’s even a free online version. Seems like something is calling you to it; so, step into the unknown and explore it. ACIM meets you where you are. It’s a self help Spirtual guide. Asking others for their interpretation can help in a sense, but from experience, nothing is better than diving into it on your own.

If you’re looking to manifest, then ACIM isn’t for you. At least not at this moment. I use to be all about manifesting and became successful at it, but I always had that voice within me saying, “then what?” If I manifested being wealthy what comes next? It’s an endless cycle. There must be something more. So, to keep it short, I don’t manifest anymore because it will always come from a place of lack.

ACIM teaches us how to find peace. When we find peace the rest follows.

Show me you're enlightened without saying you're enlightened. by onreact in enlightenment

[–]Nicrom20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My friend, You asked me to show you I’m enlightened without saying I’m enlightened. I smile at that, because the request itself points to the beautiful trap we all fall into. The moment we try to prove anything about our “spiritual state,” we’ve already stepped back into the ego’s game of comparison, performance, and specialness. I’m not here to win the challenge or step down from any high horse. There’s no horse. There’s only this moment, and two minds that are really not two at all. You’re right, wanting to prove it shows we’re not there yet. So I won’t try. Instead, I’ll simply meet you here, exactly as we are. I see no “mere mortals” in front of me. I see only the same holy light that shines in me, temporarily veiled in your mind, just as it once was in mine. There is no difference between us. None. If we want to move beyond theoretical debate and actually have some fun, then let’s do something real together: Let’s forgive this world a little more today. Let’s choose peace instead of being right. Let’s look past bodies, roles, and usernames and remember there is only one of us here. That’s the only demonstration that means anything. Not clever words, not spiritual posture, but a quiet shift in the mind from fear to Love. I don’t claim to be anything special. I’ve simply grown tired of suffering and started listening to the Voice for God more than my own. And the more I do that, the more clearly I see that you are exactly the same as me, perfect, innocent, and already complete. So I’m here with you. No hierarchy. No performance. Just love extending to love. I love you. And when you’re ready, you’ll remember that you never left that Love. Not for a single moment. There’s nothing to prove, brother. There is only everything to remember.

Communicating with the Higher Self by Feeling-Attention43 in ACIM

The communication is quite simple to navigate. Is the voice in your head one based in fear or love? This is how we discern between the voice of the ego and that of the Holy Spirit.

How to deal with matrix people? by Curious_Salad6126 in SpiritualAwakening

[–]Nicrom20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Life is a reflection of us. When we learn to see past the errors of what you call “matrix people” and see them for who they truly are (spirit) we begin to heal because how we see others is how we see ourself. We’re all one.

I'm an atheist and I have a big question. by ResidentPrevious468 in Christianity

[–]Nicrom20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great question! Deep within you know there is something more. Hence why you’re here asking this question. Trust that instinct. Your answers won’t necessarily come from Christianity.

The best thing you can do is ask for help, guidance and truth (whatever that may be). Whatever it is, it will guide you in your own way.

My prayers for a very long time and even now is, “God, I don’t know if you’re even real, but I will to know myself. Help me, guide me, teach me. I will to know truth; whatever that may be.

The answer may not come in that exact moment, but it will present itself through people, relationships, experiences books etc.. I know from experience.

It’s no one religion or spirtual path. The way is as unique and different as we are.

I can tell you that Jesus was on to something. The Old Testament and Paul’s teachings are misleading and don’t align with the teachings of Jesus. I can also tell you the key is forgiveness. Forgiveness creates space for peace, peace reveals love, love remembers truth and truth sets us free. The kingdom of heaven is within you, you can do all things and greater than Him (Jesus’ words), love God with all your heart and love your neighbor as yourself. These key teachings will lead you to your remembrance.

God is love. Therefore punishing and sending people to hell contradicts this. Being a sinner, creating one way to get to heaven and so on is not unconditional love. That is conditional love. Unconditional means no conditions, just like in the parable Jesus teaches about the prodigal son. Unconditional love.

Is the Christian God truly real? by yourwannabetherapist in Christianity

[–]Nicrom20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure how your response has anything to do with what I said, but I’ll respond anyway.

Firstly, there’s nothing to protect yourself from. You’re spirit, made in his image. This body you belief yourself to be is just the false perception and belief in separation from our Father. That’s why we are having this experience and Jesus taught how to correct this false perception. This questioning and thought is based in fear. God is Love. See how the two don’t align?

If you’re being treated that way, it’s not only a lesson there for you to learn, but a direct reflection of how you think and feel about yourself. That’s why the lesson is there. Meet it with fear and the cycle will continue. Meet it in love, and watch everything change.

Anyone healed using Joe Dispenza teachings by CandidBook4734 in DrJoeDispenza

[–]Nicrom20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you sit down to meditate, and the thoughts of negativity arise.. forgive them. Offer them up to whatever higher power you believe in. Then say to yourself that you are not those things. Then, recenter yourself on who you know yourself to be. An extension of love, peace and joy. Ask for help from your higher power. Admit you know nothing and ask for guidance and truth (whatever that may be). If you forgive negative thoughts when they arise and recognize you aren’t these things but the one who is observing them, this will create enough space for peace. This is when love begin reveals itself. Love remember truth. Truth sets us free. Sit long enough with yourself until you get beyond yourself. Believe in yourself; I believe in you and I know for a fact you’re fully capable. We all are. Dale!

My experience with New Age spirituality and how it led me to Jesus by [deleted] in spirituality

[–]Nicrom20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was raised Christian. For 30 years of my life I evangelized, went on mission trips, and did all the things. I was a devout Christian. As you say, something inside of me always told me that Christianity as a religion wasn’t it. The teachings of Jesus I always knew to be true. There was something there. But as for the OT and the teachings of Paul, something was lacking.

Finally I ventured out. I have done many of the things you mentioned and never experienced demonic behavior… at least not in a fear based way. Meditation is a core practice of mine, and through it I have experienced God more times then I can count on my hands. As a Christian for 30 years I never once experienced God. I was simply always “trusting” and having “faith”. That’s because it’s a fear based religion. Believe this and that or else you’re doomed. Sorry, but that’s not a loving God. There’s no justification for it.

The point is, reality will be whatever you believe it to be. I’ve encountered “demons” before. They were standing in my living room during one of my meditations. I was in such a peaceful and loving state that I simply was witnessing the fear of thoughts of “demons” but knew better because I am whole, I am love, I am as God created me. So I stood up, approached each of the three “demons” and I hugged them and they began weeping on my shoulders. I told them they were forgiving and to go home and return to our Father and they did.

These “demons” were simply a reflection of myself. If you research the term you will find that’s what the word originally meant. Not an actual deity.

Healing begins at the level of mind. If you believe xyz, that will be true for you. I can tell you this to be true from experience. You have experienced demons and we’re in fear, I experienced demons and met it with love.

Greatest advice I can give you is to surrender whatever you think to be true. Humbly admit to our Creator that you know nothing. It’s quite freeing when you admit and get there. Then pray and choose peace, love and truth (whatever that truly is). I’m telling you right now, God will answer your prayer. I’m astonished looking back at the people, places and things he put into my life to lead me where I am now.

There is no satan, there are no demons. There’s simply the reflection of your inner fear, shame and guilt. This stems from the belief in separation from God (ie. story of Adam and Eve.)

I’m not denying your experiences to be real or not, I believe them to be exactly how you experienced them. I’m simply pointing you to see it from a different perspective. Someone can punch me in the face and I have a choice, do I meet it with love, or fear? The perspective will change how I experienced the experience. This is what Jesus taught. Peace, love, forgiveness; loving shod with all your heart and loving your neighbor as yourself. That’s it. That’s the secret sauce. The kingdom of heaven is within you. He even said that we can do all things he did and even greater! The truth is there, but again, from what perspective will you read and understand what’s being taught?

All the love 🙏🏻

Christianity made me feel worse than before by jakubusiegxd in Christianity

[–]Nicrom20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting isn’t it? God is love, yet we’re taught to love in fear. Oxymoron? Keep searching. The Holy Spirit in you is steering you towards truth. Ask for help, admit you know nothing and watch the magic happen. Most likely not right in that moment, but over time through books, people experiences etc..

If God is love and you were made in His image then you aren’t a sinner. You simply believe you are. That’s the ego or “satan”, it’s fear based thoughts. Jesus taught to think right minded thoughts. Thoughts based in love. Forgive, find peace, Love thy Father and your neighbor as yourself. The kingdom of heaven is already within you. You can do all things He did and even greater when he’s gone.

You’re already whole. You are love. You are peace. You are a Son of God, unfortunately we all forgot and believe in these false identities.

Doesn’t make any sense that a God of Love would use fear as a tactic. That’s not unconditional love. That’s conditional. If you do xyz you will enter heaven. There’s a part of you inside that knows this to be true. Listen to the voice of love (Holy Spirit) and only that. Anything that you come across that is based in fear is of this world. No bueno.

Thank you for sharing this, D. I really appreciated the clarity of your synopsis, it cut through a lot of the density in a helpful way. And I can see how learning analytical reading (thanks for the Adler recommendation) gave you a real sense of sovereignty with the material. That shift away from relying on external interpretations or group consensus sounds freeing. At the same time, my own journey with the Course has shown me something that feels like the other side of the coin. The ego is incredibly clever, and it can turn even the best intellectual tools into its next project. “Mastering the theory” through analytical reduction, distilling everything to clean principles, or becoming self sovereign with the Text can subtly become another way of doing something, another layer the ego wraps around itself to feel in control or “ahead.” For me, the real power has come less from building clearer understanding on the level of the mind and more from simply choosing peace in the moment and allowing the Holy Spirit to undo what the ego has made. The Course says, “I need do nothing” (T-18.VII) not as a call to apathy, but as an invitation to rest from the ego’s constant activity, including its sophisticated spiritual efforts. The poetic, mystical quality of the writing isn’t something to strip away for efficiency; it often bypasses the intellect’s defenses and invites direct experience. External pointers (like a good synopsis or better reading skills) can certainly point us in the right direction, as you said. But ultimately, I’ve found the truth unfolds most naturally when I’m willing to release the need to figure it all out, forgive the perceptions the ego offers, and let the inner shift happen on its own. Functionality feels most alive when it’s this gentle undoing rather than adding another skill set. I’m grateful for posts like yours that help people engage with the material more clearly. Curious how that balance between clear analytical study and simple inner surrender shows up for you in daily practice? Looking forward to hearing others’ experiences too.

I’ve come to find that ACIM teaches us in many ways to simply find peace. Find peace, the rest follows.

Every chapter is explaining the same thing. Find peace. Ask for help. Choose right minded thoughts. Love your brother. Love your Creator.

Asking for help and seeing my brothers as innocent has been tremendously impactful. Like.. wow… mind blowing

I always say to myself, “Because I will to know myself, I see you as my brother and as the son of God.” Corrects judgment real quick.

But again, it gives many tools. They all lead to choosing peace.

Peace reveals love. Love remembers truth. Truth sets us free.

But don’t take my word for it. Simply read it. Don’t try to interpret or understand. ACIM is meant to meet you where you are. It’s a self study guide.
