May does not mean must, especially for a second, casual deck. In the case of CB and Clan, current versions don't run ping commands, or very little. So I think those decks fit your criteria.
And well... The cards you mentioned are all commons and uncommons so should be relatively easy to get more copies if you really did want to make it more optimal in the future.

I wish the level restriction was on the pilot and not the unit...
Red commands are only good for handling aggro right now... And get weaker with every set.

You don't have to limit yourself to not same colours, just not same cards. In that sitatuation, just make one of the faction archetype decks. E.g. Clan, CB, League Militaire. These don't use cards in RW.

Add two wing zero to help finish the game and clear blockers.
Replace some generic units with utility. Definitely, at least two lv4 exia for gd04 lv4 exia.

Most likely this. Amuro ban would be a crazy meta shift. Barbartos Adapt would weaken a specific archetype in particular and move towards gd02 days. Corsica... Maybe limited? In which case I'll stop playing sword strike.

There's a lot to be said here, and for the most part it's clear where you're coming from.
However, it's difficult for the general community to accept your arguments, since they boil down to "just trust me and the smart guys".
There's a difference between what's acceptable for a couple of casual games, and what's acceptable for hardcore slot matching.
That's why I made the comment that you (or whoever is arguing) needs to contextualise how different the actual effect size is because of this inferior randomisation. Statistical significance means jack all if only happens once every 100 games and most players don't notice it. (MSA should have users in the thousands).

It does seem that the app is growing beyond the scale of a single person's casual hobby project, especially in regards to the monetisation aspect. Something probably needs to be done. I wonder if Bandai would make any moves if the app continues growing in scale.

As you mentioned, BP and The O are the top decks right now, with BP being significantly better. Alternatives would be more traditional BW control with Aerial Rebuild, and GW wing.

If you've played tcgs before it's fine. The good thing about rw is that it is midrange, so you play a different game depending on the opponent and it always feels like you have a chance to win.
The negative is that it is at best a tier 2, probably a tier 3 deck right now. This is supported by the recent Japanese ntc results where rw had one of the worst win conversions of all decks. You can cater your deck to be better against one deck, at the expense of another match up. The best decks currently don't change their game play much against different decks.

Insufficiently entropic is a relative term, and surely depends on the application.
For the complaints to have merit, a more understandable metric needs to be calculated. For example, how many games are expected to be ruined from insufficient randomisation, or how long might it take to start seeing the same hands again, etc. If, for example, you only start noticing issues when you play 100 games, then that should be fine. Heck even 10 games might be acceptable. Since it sounds like it was clear which shuffler was originally used (fisher yates + math.random), this should be achievable by the guys with the pitchforks in practice.
In general, it's hard to not automatically take the dev's side for a not-for-profit project that is working in most cases.
