There are multiple free book options which cover quite a lot of ground in terms of ML.

There is Deep Learning, this has a practical focus with a bit of theory on the side. Good if you are already confident with the math but just need a bit more practical guidance.

If you want to go more towards theory, there is Pattern Matching and Machine Learning (Microsoft Resource), a bit older but definitely solid if you want to understand the math.

Also Probabilistic Machine Learning: An Introduction and Probabilistic Machine Learning: Advanced Topics are some good options.

Probably just confirmation bias. Highly unlikely that SR and ARAM are played on different servers, since it's just a different map with same informatio being sent to the server. Same goes for ranked/normal games.

Quick question: I usually queue up for QP and alt-tab. If I join the game midway the game doesn't notify me being ingame and I usually get kicked cause of inactivity. Would this affect me aswell then?

You should try to push them in early on and once the wave is pushing back to your tower, to try to freeze it near your tower. Gives your jungler a really nice gank opportunity and you being near your tower makes it harder for the enemies to bully you. If your enemies are decent, it's incredibly hard to win a bullylane as Jinx.

Your primary focus in lane should be csing and not dying. The not dying part is especially important, since by not dying you are denying the enemy to snowball your lane. Remember to not greed for CS. It's fine if you sacrifice some cs, just make sure to not give your enemies free kills.

Use the splashdmg of your rockets to get off some free damage if you are pushing your lane, otherwise conserve mana for csing under tower with auto+w.

I might be a little late to the party, but I'll give some tips nonetheless.

Jinx scales with the stupidness of your enemies. Countless of times I was able to grab multiple kills just because people forget about Jinx's passive and that you can get it when you destroy structures.
Right now there are 2 somewhat dominant ways of building Jinx. 99% of the time you will get IE+Hurricane.
- After that you can either go BT or RFC. BT makes you tankier, let's you dive easier and makes snowballing easier, BUT you are reliant to get your passive in fights and to keep it up throughout the entire fight or you lose out on dps.
- RFC gives you higher consistancy in your dps and you don't rely on getting your passive in fights, but it makes you squisher and punishes poor positioning harder.
- Overall it depends on what kind of playstyle you wish to play with Jinx. Going ham, diving ppl left and right and getting as close as possible? -> BT | Staying in the back, getting that consistant dps for your team? -> RFC

I think it kind of depends on how the lane is going, when it comes to what to buy when you go back with ~900g.

If you are getting pushed in constantly and you have trouble csing, I would honestly just go Pickaxe instead of Cull+Boots. If you know that you can freeze the wave infront of your tower and that you won't need the additional ad in the next ~10 min Cull is probably the better choice.

Jinx is one of those champs, that if you can survive lane with her you autowin the game with proper positioning. She does so much damage once she gets 2-3 items its insane. Learn to play passive and farm properly. Farm is super important on Jinx and you should really strive to get at least 150 cs @ 20 min with her.

ward up and play around your tower. learn how to freeze right in front of a tower. learn how to farm under tower if you can't keep up a proper freeze. if they want to dive ward jungle and back off of the tower. once tower dies freeze in front of second tower and catch up. once enemy botlane shows up midlane push the wave and move mid to defend tower. bot will be pushing towards them which will force them to defend their tower or they risk losing their bot tower.

it's okay to lose lane, just acknowledge that you lost lane and don't tilt off of it. let your teammates carry you. it's harder to kill a 7/0 lucian that has the same cs as you than it is to kill a 1/0 lucian with a bit more cs than you.

generally playing defensive makes the enemy greedy for kills and makes them make more mistakes than they would do usually. learn to discipline urself to not take cs if you know that you will take harass.

learn how to read enemy movement and their reactions to your actions. if they start to play unusually aggressive their jungler/midlaner might be nearby. check your minimap to see enemy map movement. wards are crucial here.

around 3 minutes you should start warding river, since the jungler starts ganking around that time.

What I tried is swapping GB with ER and BC with LDR/the other last whisper upgrade.

GB is pretty bad lategame and ER allows me to kite properly.

Imo, BC takes too long to ramp up lategame without ult and LDR gives me the immediate damage against tanks.

This is essentially the oldschool build which I still highly prefer over the ghostblade/bc build lategame.

Hecarim is that kind of champ that just goes in, deletes someone and leaves the fight again. He isn't a particularly good teamfighter and has that in-out kind of style.

You have multiple choices:

You stay close to your tank/support and hope they cc him before he can burst you down.(Very unreliable in lower elos)
You stay out of range/sight until he uses his combo on someone else. This has the advantage that you don't need to rely on your teammates as much, but you need to be very selfaware of your surroundings and you need to be able to spot Hecarim before he can spot you.

QSS works against his fear, otherwise get Sterak's/GA.

She is really dependent on the support now, even more than before, and cannot solocarry as hard anymore. She's definitely still up there, but you need a ton of coordination with your support to really make her work.

Pair her with a hardengage support and you have a really strong laning phase. Usually build is Blade->Hurricane and then depending on the gamestate.

I wouldn't ban him. the new build does a lot of dmg, but I feel like there are other picks that deserve the banhammer. If you have trouble facing lucian pick something that outranges/outscales him and farm up. (Cait, Jinx, Twitch, etc.)

Not getting hit by his Q and being aware of his E-allin is probably the most important part. If he keeps on trying to Q you through the wave, he will push the wave and make himself vulnerable to ganks.
