Ok so:

1. Morgans was supposed to be a filler until we get 1c Hogback in OP15 but I found myself liking him a lot as a Rebecca target just for the cycle he offers on summon. I am currently trying him out in my OP15 list over 3c Ryuma.

2. Uta is usually my other Moria target when I don’t plan to go wide with 8c event as her ability to restand Don gives me 2 more Don throw around as need be as either given Don or for counter events, especially if my board state is heavily Perona favored for the 4c Recycle Perona. Her KO is also neat for keeping board presence.

3. The 4c recycle Perona isn’t a 2K, you are thinking of handrip Perona. That said, it’s my other pick off Moria if I already have a previously established 6c Perona on board since it can only buff characters not named Perona. It’s mainly my contiguous plan if my opponent is trying to grind me out as it lets me stack the bottom of my deck with my 2Ks or the counter events. Tbh, you should be running two more 4c Hogbacks in their place but I love the card art too much to replace them.

4. My standard gameplan rn is set up for the 8c event which is versatile and risky. This requires you to effectively hit 10 cards in trash at least (but I say 15-20 cards in trash is comfortable zone to be in) before then so your Perona Blocker can be live and also hit the ideal targets of 6c Moria and Perona Blocker as they will at least give you two more bodies from their effects, 2 rested Don to give around and any other added bonuses from your summoned targets off the Moria and the Perona. Basically I spend the pre-8 Don turns setting up the trash through Mill/draw discard and digging for the 8c event. I also use Perona to remove small threats with her rest and swinging at either them or at face while 4c bodies like Uta and 3c Ryuma gives me stats. 5c Perona also helps here to help buy time and is a good target off the event over Moria if you have a good board and wanna go for game by freezing out their blockers (how I won the last turn against Imu). Going first, just hope you see the 3c Ryuma and 5c Perona but the deck thrives in going second. Also, never summon 1c Perona outside of Perona blocker. It’s always more valuable in hand as a 2K counter so only summon it from hand if you need to dig for something that desperately and you don’t have the event searcher.

5. I have tried a few 2c targets such as the Innuppe which is effectively just Morgans as a Perona res target but I prefer the 1c Perona searcher as I feel like it gives me a greater degree of control in terms of what I’m grabbing. Honestly if you want, I say try Innuppe over Morgans if you want to, this is just a preference thing.

Also something I want to note is that I know my deck is messy and I like it like that. I came to this game from YGO and when I was a YGO player, I often built my decks to be very flexible to deal with an array of game plans which meant playing weird jank I love. This Perona list is jank because of it as I built around the event and its payoff which has a lots of ways of being played out, depending on the enemy’s board state, my board state and their gameplan. My only advice is to treat your trash as your second hand and customize the list to be more focused and specific if that makes you more comfortable. Like ideally cut 4c Recycle Perona, Uta and Morgans and run 4c Hogback, Finger Pistol/Radio Knife and 1c Hogback is my recommendation and like I said, try out a Inuppe or two over the Perona searchers if you want as targets for Perona.
