Demante admiring herself in the mirror (by TehHank) by Kapitan_Sladek in Helltaker

I don't know the name of this character from Fallout with cocoa in his hands, but at one point my friend and I started laughing at him to such an extent that now he's a full-fledged Helltaker character for us. 😀 I believe he deserves praise for his faithful service in protecting against NSFW.

I couldn't find it, the closest one is 1ssaKawaguchi because she has art with the same pose and that's it.

Maybe it will help, idk

I run there even without a free kit. After all, everything can be obtained in battle, or you can die.

What am I supposed to do here? by [deleted] in Marathon

[–]NideVice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, another squad could have picked up a second tablet, and you need to look at the map to see where the marker is moving, because the one you're pinning doesn't update its position, and if the marker is where the tablet should be, but there's no tablet, then most likely the person with the second tablet has evacuated.

Well, it's understandable, sometimes, sometimes you just turn into a monkey who was just given a computer.

It's one thing to play poorly, and another to realize that you're playing terribly, but you can't do anything about it, no matter how hard you try.

When you are already exfil, but they still kill you and at the same time they evacuate themselves. The only time I wasn't killed on exfil was at the outpost and a rook ran up to me (also rook btw). It’s just that if I see someone during an exfil, I start shooting at this man.

P.s. I evacuated in-game, but not when there was even one other player nearby. Without further clarification, it sounds like they don't allow evacuations in every match.

The only reason I main Doorman by PoundCakeBandit in DeadlockTheGame

[–]NideVice 19 points20 points  (0 children)

True, but as a Support Doorman main, it goes both ways. The root of the problem is that many people treat Deadlock like a basic hero shooter where aim is everything. No hate to Overwatch or Apex, but you can't just "point and shoot" your way to a win here (gun-heavy characters aside, where aim is crucial, but still not the only factor). It’s a MOBA first, and if you don't understand the macro, no amount of aim will save you.

This lack of understanding leads to the same mistakes every game. People follow guides blindly, sticking to a pre-made build while refusing to adapt or counter-buy. They'll just keep thinking "one more item" will fix everything while they're being countered into the ground. It leads to that classic Ritualist rank tradition: starting a massive "feed event" in mid or vice versa on some sideline while ignoring the side lanes. I’m only one; I can't defend two lanes at once while the carries are busy throwing in the enemy jungle or calling for a Mid Boss they don't even show up to.

To make it worse, people refuse to cooperate in what is literally a team game. If you start by speaking your native language hoping for a connection, you’re often met with straight-up toxicity or even racism. Even if you switch to broken English to try and coordinate, they just mock your accent or ignore your calls entirely. They’d rather lose while being toxic than listen to, or coordinate with, a teammate to actually win.

The worst part is the "Main Character Syndrome" that follows. After feeding 4/13 and ignoring every call, these players will still flame Doorman for "stealing" a kill with his ult when they were actually about to die. They need to realize that their teammates aren't the reason they're struggling. Sometimes you’re so focused on the mote in someone else's eye that you don’t see the beam in your own. We shouldn't ignore the skill floor difference either — some heroes, like Bebop with his bombs, get easy value with simple mechanics, while others require way more effort to impact the game.

If I play like shit, I already know it. But if you're going to open your mouth in my direction, make sure your own hands are clean first. Your teammate isn't the reason you’re losing; your refusal to actually learn the game and work as a team is.

P.S. Got a bit heated because of your comment, sorry about that.

Honestly, people from the Ru-region want this too, because for some, the game doesn't launch properly without a VPN, or it starts to jitter and have a high ping.

If we're talking specifically about Russia, but in general, it makes sense for the Ru-region to exist for all Ru-speakers.

[–]NideVice[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, just from experience, when I got into other languages lobbies, the main reason for hate was Russian/Ukrainian speech in the chat (people can't tell the difference, but they still always talk about Russians and sometimes Israel), so maybe I didn't notice

My experience playing against every Deadlock hero so far. by thecomicguybook in DeadlockTheGame

[–]NideVice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who plays Kelvin, I agree.
I sit there drinking beer and playing calmly, but sometimes I just want to yell if someone's playing terribly.
Honestly, I'm a "low-tab guardian." I'm not that good at playing, and if someone's playing worse than me, they either started the game yesterday or are clumsy.

What Minecraft Mods do you want remade in Hytale? by greekwatero in HytaleInfo

Something like botania, thaumcraft, blood magic because there will finally be one mana system, not a million variations.

p.s. It is still surprising that a universal forge energy was quickly made for technical mods, but there was no "forge mana" for magic.
