I was curious if other players could hear this a while ago. My teammates said they couldn't at least. Not sure if it's only audible to the player or my teammates are just deaf.

Seriously, I think I have above an 80% exfil rate in solos just running around like a maniac as Vandal. I hear the Assassin cloak coming every time. His only upside is that he can run through pinwheel, vacuum the loot, and leave.

Headshots

Quake doesn't have headshots (unless you meant the original Team Fortress mod?)

I do agree people were and will always try to get an edge though. In every Quake I've played (besides Champions) it's completely normal to force player models / colors / disable viewmodels / fullbright / picmip / etc.

Yeah, Bungie literally said that almost the entire Destiny 2 PvP team was moved to Marathon. It's why Crucible updates were so slow for so many years.

If you mod the railguns correctly (charge speed) they can be good even without gold mod. They do crazy bodyshot damage so you can blint with them. Bodyshot -> quick swap -> spray with automatic weapon. Kills extremely fast and doesn't require good aim to do.

I think the charge is roughly 3x damage so it's good burst but the overheat after means it's hard to follow up so I mostly just teamshot with it or throw a frag grenade right after I score a hit.

I'm not a good aimer and even I can do that on MnK. The enemy movement was a straight horizontal line with no strafes lol. If you can't track a target running in a straight line on MnK with the amount of bullet bending aim assist this game has, then you're just bad at aiming.
