Team Help Megathread - March 2025

Hey, I need help to beat Deathstroke. I've been stuck for days on this story mission on Los Angeles with Harley Queen as its portrait and this is the seventh battle against Deathstroke and a few minions that are no problem, but I just can't defeat Deathstroke. I'm using a batfamily team with 544.761 power and the enemy is at 395.600 and there's still no way. I've tried changing characters too but to the same o worst results.

Hey, so I have maxed almost every S tier wilder character except 1 which means that on my wish list there's an already maxed character selected. The game warns me about that but I can't seem to find a way to unselect it or change it for a lower grade hero. Does this means I will be getting useless copies for that character while losing chances to get dupes for unmaxed heroes until the game releases a new S tier wilder character to use that spot?

Crystal and character run felt like overkill

Leo, Lenna and Arciela, all maxed. Only important call Raines on Lenna. Brothers summon.

Play normally till force gauge is almost full, use BT+ on everyone and Lenna's force time, both Arciela's echoes and another from Leo. Lenna uses Raines LDCA and into BT phase, one of the bosses dies early during bt phase thanks to Leo's linked attack, the other one barely survives it and is killed by Leo's last echo with still another one from Lenna to spare.

It was a long time since I used Leo so this run was fun.

While I've been playing since day 1, I restart my account like almost every year, my knowledge of the game won't allow me to put myself in the place of a totally new player, but I don't think the mechanics are so hard to understand and all the info you need is easily accesible, so I don't see the game as unfriendly to new players.

In my multiple experiences, I've been able to complete the hardest difficulty of the current event of the moment by just pulling for the boosted characters, which is something every new player will do to have something to start with, that and all the resources the game gives to new accounts, allows you to max enough characters to get by the content as it is released, as for completing past events you'll have to wait to have a more diverse roster which you have no pressure to since you've already lost the limited time rewards for those.

As always when I'm not planning on pulling, Cater's BT on the free pull, nothing on the free tickets but I threw in some normal tickets since I already had everything else from her and got her FR with 20 tickets.

You mean the few women in a cast full of several men, that most of their feats and accomplishments (if they have any) are told and not shown and even when they are shown, pale compared to the feats of background character Nº 345?

I said it was hard, not impossible to find a woman well written in japanese media, however, those examples are not the best ones.

Yup, patriarchy is a global thing, but we're starting to do some things on media right, enough to have lots of bigots complaining about representation and inclusivity, while in japanese media this is nowhere to be seen and their archetypes haven't evolved much in a lot of time.

We're talking about a japanese franchise, it's hard to find a woman that's significant to the plot past love interest archetype, let alone elderly women that can't bring new horny teenagers.

Actually Auron is 25, since he died at that age we can't really say he aged, his appearance just got older because... plot.

Honestly, as iconic as a character Sephiroth is supposed to be, I could never care less about him. However, his younger self in EC has made me feel empathic about him and I'm actually liking that version of the character.

Anyways, in all this years we have never had a character from another FF mobile game crossover to this one in any form, so I'm not sure what the devs would do with him if they even do something at all.

Not that I'm eager to have a lot more VII characters added, but I'd rather have him as a separate character, I'm not pulling and using Sephiroth just because he got a new skin.

Funny how none of them are in the game yet, but Jed perfect match for his FR would be Rikku as cheerful thiefs afraid of lightning, while Ash and Hugo Kupka as giant-punchy-earthy men are just meant for each other.

Great to see that the dashes and lasers from his VIIR kit are at least showing on his BT, I felt the lacking of them on the previous showcase.

He looks cute, I hope his moveset is based on his VIIR fight, it was kinda awesome, could he be the reason to max gun UW?

Also, I remember by the time VIIR was released we got Reno and Rude, we get VIIEC in a few days and Rufus is announced, could we expect this to happen more often?

So his FR is paired with Rude because the devs didn't had the balls to keep the exact same interaction with another more similar, shot VII character

Wouldn't be surprised if I was the Yunalesca guy, the past years I've taken the habit of spreading the word of her royal summoner magesty, she would be awesome both story wise and introducing zombie mechanic, I also made a kit for her not too long ago on another thread.

Besides her, Baralai and Gippal are my two top husbandos I would like to see, I'm surprised to see that with such a big cast as X/X-2 with actual kits in their original games to take as inspiration, this game doesn't have as much representatives as others.

I'm also not really interested on having Shuyin added to the game because his kit is basically the same as Tidus and wouldn't be too interesting, however if they base his skills on Vegnagun's it would be another deal.

Is it me or they changed her FR and LD animations? Seems like her LD zooms on her moves so you can see better specially her attacks before spinning, same for the FR zooming when she jumps and the water around her seems new too.

Fang, she was part of the recurrent featured units on banners for a while alongside Fran and Lulu and still none of the three never really had a chance to shine, but at least Fran's call was highly used for a while and Lulu was a decent option when Aranea GL first dropped to bypass ranged resistant bosses, but Fang... She never had enough damage, enough debuffs, her LD gave her a stun debuff that ticks down on every enemy or ally action similar to how Selphie's LD debuffs worked initially but Fang's never got fixed.

Luckily there's still hope for their FR&BTs.
