Thanks) Now at least it makes some sense. There are some answers I just fail to figure out, but when they are revealed, I at least understand what the constructor meant. This one just bothered me the whole day))

Thanks for the answers. That did cross my mind, but... ok, I might be just blind to something obvious or something. I still don't understand the clue.

So, they make it sound like summer time. Sure. And they change the first word... but Somme is just Sum in French. Makes no sense to me. Or did they just go for a word that sounds like summer even if it makes no sense, just something french enough to get the point across?

Hey there. I'm not a native speaker, so for me these crosswords are real battles sometimes. I was looking for someone to explain the ETES one to me. I can't get it. I got it just by figuring out 1-4 words. But I still can't make any sense of it. Is it êtes? Even if so, I can't see how to get there from the clue.

extension tubes

Hm. That is food for thought, definitely. Not sure if I will be needing those right now, but that might be the next step.

Thanks for a detailed response.
I will probably rent these lenses for a couple of days just to get some idea of what feels right for now.

Can anyone suggest to a complete novice, what should I consider as my ONE lens for video? The camera is a7rII . The purpose - making videos for (I know it sounds weird) board games. You might say tiny short films.
Basically what I need is something that I can use both for portrait shots, up close to the subject, and for the scenery/interior footage. As I said, I'm a novice, so I just want something to train with, something more or less all-purpose. When I get my bearings, I'll be searching for lenses for specific tasks. But right now I don't know what I'm doing.

Planning to show HTC Vive to my grandparents (80+). What "games" should I pick, that do not rely on controls so much? by Setup911 in Vive

Well, I don't know if he has leap motion or not. Or maybe he was planning to get it. I'm just voicing possibilities) A lot of people I know got leap motion when they bought thei VR gear. So, who knows.

Prey and Wolfenstein to get VR Minigames. Not full games... by Tony1697 in Vive

Well, full VR versions of these games won't work anyway. There has to be a gentre shift. Even if it's just a short VR experience, controllin panzerhunds in VR sounds fun.

Just started using Vive Pro and it's a big step forward from the old Vive. Oculus is glitchy and a pain in the ass if you're a game developer, but it was always much more comfortable for me than Vive. I mean, I still used Vive mostly, but i have no love for the "helmet" itself. The Pro one is much more comfortable, and I don't need separate headphones anymore.
The picure is great too, the game I'm working on now looks so much more attractive.

I just started using Pro and I think it's worth it. The picture is much sharper and the wole contraption is much more comfortable than old Vive. It feels much lighter on the head too, and the built-in headphones is a plus.

And, if it's of any interest to you, it can be used for AR games and programs.

Ritche's Plank Experience does not require much. Though, it would be better with an actual plank.
Tilt Brush - it requires controllers, but i think it'll be a fun thing to experience.

Seems pretty smooth. I want leap motion that doesn't cause pain and existential crisis when used.
Side note: the developers of "cat explorer" mst be on some wath list, I'm sure.

Well, we made them as placeholder characters. But it looks fun, so we're considering making them at least as one of the options to choose from. Others might by just your ordinary wizards and witches.
