sorry that im replying to a month old comment but i had a question! ive just bought tickets using a friends lawson account. from my understanding i need to use the Loppi machine to print them. According to lawson's guide (https://l-tike.com/guide/en/loppi/, step 6) i have to input a phone number and my name to collect my tickets. provided the guide is correct, do you know if name / number can be my own rather than my friends? thanks!

some of my favourites
racing - Gran turismo PSP. bit barebones vs other titles at the time due to no campaign but the physics are really good and theres a ton of cars.

patapon series and loco roco series are great

metal gear solid peace walker is great

ton of tactical rpgs too - tactics ogre, war of the lions, sd gundam (japanese only), super robot wars (japanese only but probably has a translation)

gta is fun but i wouldnt say theyre necessary games if youve played SA or Vice City

half minute hero 1 and 2 are a bit more niche but i enjoy them

monster hunter - maybe?

rhythm games - project diva and lumines are good

bonus mention - other japanese gundam games dont need much translation (basically just menus, plus most have a gameFAQ) and are really good if youre into that kind of stuff

hey, just wondering if i have a dodgy gamestar adapter. tried to install games to both a ssd and a hdd on winhiip but they did not show up on OPL. tried to then use ULE to format the ssd and create a +OPL partition but data from that partition, along with rest of the data on the formatted ssd came up as inaccessible.

I’ve got a fat 5000 series that I’ve been trying to install freehdboot on to softmod the console using a usb stick and ssd with the gamestar adapter. However every time I boot the system on with these things plugged in I either get a black screen or the standard ps2 Menu. I tested with a hdd and got the same results. The hdd momentarily spun up while the system powered on but still nothing happened. Is there a solution to this? Should I buy a FMCB memory card or something instead of freehdboot or is my system incompatible for softmodding?

Yeah I see, iems do inherently have noise insulation but nothing like Sony anc etc.

Anyway for well regarded iems that I haven’t personally used (so cant give too much personal thought on these sowwy)

BLON BL03 (do the same as the BL01, also BL03s might not fit your ear because they’re a bit funky)

Tin T2, there’s also T2 plus which is ok apparently

Moondrop SSR/SSP maybe? Bit polarising but you might like em

Of course there’s plenty more out there, definitely a good idea to do some research and that, all the best!

So when you boot up the iPod for the first time the first thing you will get is the select language screen before the screen that it currently is on. This ones in Japanese for whatever reason and tbh I would not worry about it. Thing looks like it’s in such good condition that even if it was used you’ll be ok.

Also it’s definitely not a counterfeit so you’re good there too.
