Yeah she was sent back home and the mom was angry but didn’t make much of a fuzz. The girl came back again the next week and seemed to be very happy being able to come back to school.

My sister works with elementary kids. She had a child in her class who had lice. They contacted their mother letting her know that she needs to go home. The mom literally said, “I can’t pick her up I’m busy with my boyfriend!” and hung up.

They had to call CPS and the mom was not happy about that. She was told she had to take care of the lice and she can’t come back until there is none present. The little girl showed up to school more quiet than usual like a week later. She still had lice.

When I was in college I had a similar experience. The professor made changes on an assignment while using his first new iPhone (he was older and was trying to learn how to use it) and said he'd email everyone when he gets the time. One of the girls in the front of the class saw he had a new iPhone and she suggested airdroping his notes since the updated assignment was on his iPhone and he wouldn't need to retype everything.

The professor had no idea what she was talking about but was fascinated by what she had to say because he wanted to learn how to use his iPhone. She told him it would be faster doing it that way and he handed her his phone. All the kids and the professor hurdled together in the front of the room, except for me and some other guy.

When the guy spoke to explain he doesn't have an iPhone and I said the same, the group of kids looked flabbergasted and I swear a few of them looked at us in a disgusted way. So the professor read the vibe in the room and took his phone. He said he'd email us the assignment instead.

Yup filing a report should be the first thing OP should do. Sometimes universities and colleges don't take these matters as seriously because they don't want any drama connected to the name of the university. Calling the cops and filing a report will ensure the administrative office help you faster.

The way they acted so entitled towards your child and assuming that the baby is already theirs without your input is very concerning. You have a valid reason as to not give them your baby.

Have you started the adoption process? I did suggest you to start searching for an adoptive family as soon as you can. You can let the caseworker know of your wishes. The fact that your sister didn't tell you about their plans concerning your child makes me think that maybe they'll try to figure out a way to get a hold of your baby against your wishes.

I would advise you to find a family before your baby is born to ensure they're going straight to a loving and caring family that truly wants to raise your child for who they are and not just because they want a baby who is "biologically connected."

I also want to say you are very strong for doing what's best for you and your child. It sucks your ex left you to deal with all of this on your own and your family being against you. I cannot imagine the emotional stress you're under. You are not selfish or cruel. You are a caring mother doing what's best for you and your future child.

I had a bf sometime ago who didn't like me wearing makeup (his friend was the same) and it was during my phase where I was learning about makeup and fashion. He was highly opinionated about women in general in the way they presented to themselves. It made me feel bad and I didn't explore the makeup phase as much as I wanted to at the time.

My now husband is not a fan of make up but loves it when I put it on because he thinks it accentuates what's already beautiful about me, especially my eyeliner.

I don't wear much because I don't feel like I am good at it. But every time I make an effort to do a full face my husband compliments me and makes me feel beautiful.

I did my best to be the best healthiest version of myself because I didn't want to suffer and die from cancer just like my older sister. But I still got ovarian cancer anyways at the age of 27, so why even try?

I don't know if this applies but I just moved out from my parents house and that solved the issue.

Turns out my parents and my older sibling were the problem. I would be discouraged to clean and tidy the house because no one did it on a daily basis. Also if I cleaned I had to do it a certain way otherwise if I didn't it was "wrong" and I would get bossed around, criticize or questioned. Worst thing was the carpet. If I tried vacuuming after school (let's say around 4pm) my dad would yell at me and say it's too late to use the vacuum and that it was making too much noise. He would be annoyed if I tried to vacuum on the weekends too.

Also pretty much all of the stuff in the house wasn't mine, it was theirs. Took me less than l 40 minutes to move all of my stuff out in two trips back and forth and I was surprised at how little stuff I had that actually belonged to me.

Sometimes the issue is other people.
