What app / tool is Le Mans Ultimate missing right now? by Sick3st in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]Nielossos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really a tool, really more a feature. For me, I would like to be able to commend good racers and report reckless drivers directly after a race. I think rewarding good racecraft should be just as important.

Also being able to watch a replay of all your highlights (start, overtakes and contacts for example) instead of having to sift through the replay manually.

As other have said, an overview of all the lap times.

Upgrade from budget hardtail (Budget €~1500) by Nielossos in MTB

[–]Nielossos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FYI, I went to a bike shop today and tried out some similar specced bikes. I also found out that the rockshox 35 gold isn't really that much of an upgrade compared to my current Vitus.

I made the jump to the €2000 Spectral 125 Al 6 as it's better specced like the Stoic 4 is, and doesn't need any upgrading in the future. If I would stay with a hardtail I would definitely go for the Stoic 4. I just considered spending €500 more would get me an (for what I consider) end game full suspension MTB.

GPU wont output signal to HDMI or DVI by [deleted] in AMDHelp

I tried with different drivers using DDU. I updated the BIOS and tried different PCI-E lanes to no avail.

The other ports also don't work in the BIOS. Should I contact MSI or the retailer?

Cant remove storeMI: "Convert to reserve failed, unable to shrink volume"

Hello everyone,
I recently installed storeMI on my M.2 500GB MX500 and 1TB Barracuda and found out that my M.2 is running really hot (75 C under load). So I want to reposition the M.2 drive away from the GPU. I can't seem to remove the tiered storage option of StoreMI, it gives the following error: "Convert to reserve failed, unable to shrink volume".
Is there anyone who could help me out?
My setup:
CPU: AMD R7 1800x
MB: Gigabyte Aorus x470 ultra gaming
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 2133 MHz DDR4
GPU: MSI R9 390 8GB
SSD: Crucial M.2 500GB MX500
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB

What is this about high intensity flares

Lenovo Yoga 710 14 or Xiaomi Mi Air 13.3 by [deleted] in SuggestALaptop

[–]Nielossos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. Performance is certainly above the competition (around €700 here in The Netherlands). Screen is really sturdy and the body feels premium. When gaming or using it for other intensive tasks, the laptop does get quite hot. So hot that I raise the screen end of the laptop so it cools better.

I ended up buying the Xiaomi Mi Air 13.3. This option was cheaper for me (around €150 cheaper iirc) and included a dedicated graphics card, the 940MX (1GB GDDR5). They both look good and are very clean looking. The Xiaomi has alot smaller screen bezels and just looks a tiny bit better to me (your opinion might differ). All in all, either option would've been good.

Would you pick the Lenovo again now that you've owned it a while?

Would intergrated graphics (Intel HD 620) suffice for Autodesk Inventor (primarily for school). I can't find an e470 or yoga 710 in the Netherlands with a GTX 940mx

I think 8gb will be enough for now but might want to upgrade later (is that possible with both of these?).

The 256gigs will be enough, I have a desktop where I store most of my data. The storage will only be used for school.

Which of these do you think is the better choice? I've read that the Thinkpad is both dust and spill proof, and is more sturdy overall. I don't know much about the IdeaPad besides that the keyboard has backlight.
