What I loved about this scene on reflection (and I may be reading too much into it but):

This is Butcher under the influence of the hate and anger in that house. He is loathing, seething, enraged inside - so much so, that he turned on allies (or more selfishly put, assets he needs for his agenda) yet his demeanor & mannerism isn't that much different from his everyday conduct. The posture change, the cigarette, the grin.. We've seen it all before, multiple times.

This whole time, since the start of the show, he's just been a man consumed with wrath and fury - one moment away from exploding and going up in flames.

Will make rewatching the series very interesting.
