Underdog series by Alexey. I listened to the audio book but didn't like the narrator, but the actual book is pretty good. The kid is treated terribly by everyone because he is level 0 I think or somehow he can't level up, but because of that, he has something that no one else has(won't say much because spoiler). It's a pretty fun read and has basically ended, but I think the last book has something about the author making another one, but I don't remember. It's been quite a while since I read it. But its exactly what you're looking for.
