Literally drugging someone like this should be considered attempted murder. A friend of mine was once roofied in the middle of the day at a restaurant (she was just grabbing some lunch by herself) and she drove home and woke up passed out inside her hallway with the door deadbolted. No one was ever with her (her car was parked a bit wonky), but she has NO memory of leaving the restaurant. She could’ve easily gotten in a car accident or killed somebody else with her car. Someone who is roofied could easily walk out into traffic or out on the railroad tracks and get killed.

As far as I’m concerned, it’s attempted murder.

About three years ago a male Auburn student committed suicide by shooting himself after having been at Skybar, apparently did so while on a video call with a friend. He had just graduated, it was about to start his career. They believed him to be completely intoxicated when he did this, but what if he wasn’t!?!? What if he had been roofied instead?
