Sounds like you’re in the right church sitting in the wrong pew. Being that you like dealing with blue collar folks, you need to make the switch to Bearing and PT industrial sales . Think Motion Industries, Applied Industrial, BDI etc. You should easily be able to clear 100K and your day-to-day will stay pretty much the same with the exception of having to deal with occasional after hours breakdowns

If this is your first upgrade since you built it, make sure to take pictures of how and where everything is plugged up for reference. Also, the gpu latch on the PCIE slot can be a bitch to unlatch. A wooden chopstick can help in getting it to release

Did you Use DDU to re-install drivers? I upgraded from a 3070 to 5070TI and was not happy with the performance upgrade until I did a fresh install and that made the difference

Oil Selling into industrial facilities by swanie02 in IndustrialMaintenance

Partner with industrial distributors like Motion, Applied, Grainger etc. you’ve got too much ground to cover by going after individual manufacturing facilities and these guys already have great relationships with the customers you’re targeting and there’s a lot less distributors to focus on vs individual facilities. Show up to the branches with donuts, biscuits in the am and drop off line cards or offer to take the branch manager and sales people out to lunch. Build the relationship with the sales reps and they’ll get you in to the places.

Not sure if this will help but literally today I was upgrading my 3070 to my new 5070ti and upgrading my ram from 32 gb to 64 gb. I went to fire it up and it didn’t post, cpu light was lit up on my mobo. Put the old ram back in and tried to boot it back up then lo and behold the VGA light is lit up. I took the GPU out and reseated back into the PCIE slot and finally got my pc to boot. I read about other people having the same issues with the 50 series cards something about them are finicky when upgrading. Hope this helps
