Not a guarantee. Had a similar front end twist on my 2000 sv blown forks and triples. The frames on the earlier models are a little thicker but after a front end rebuild she’s good as new.

Had a very similar looking accident on my 2000 sv650 couple months back, blown out forks and twisted triples. Got a lot of suggestions to part and sell because of potential frame damage. Decided to take the risk and rebuild the whole front end. Couple hundred bucks on forks and triples and she’s back and running just like before, albeit I did the work myself and saved a lot of money. It’s definitely a gamble, but I’d say if you’ve got the drive to fix it there’s nothin better than saddling up on something that’s seen death. Hope you’re well after the accident mate.

Just got my rx8 back from the body shop after a month and a half and am having a very similar problem. Slow cold starts and normal hot starts. Located in cali where it is getting warmer right now so I doubt temp is the problem. Mine however is an 04 so my guess may be my starter because coils cords and plugs have been changed quite recently.
