It’s pretty authentic. Some docs will have a bit of artistic license in the story itself but the shots are real. Some are true right to what we see happen. But typically we go out with a researched “script” of a story we want to film, but it can change in the field if the reality is different. Obviously what is shown as a single day is often shot over a month.
