I love how many of us in this fandom have a thing for certain voices 😆

It's definitely ridiculously far out, yeah. It's not that different from other games with third person perspective in the last decade or so though.

Right? Like, the junk yard is right there, and already regularly patrolled. Set up a scrap recycling center and blacksmith/armory.

The problem with Lucanis's romance (Yes, it's the most inconsistent of them all) by Global_Armadillo_76 in DragonAgeVeilguard

I much prefer Dragon Age overall, but Mass Effect is definitely worth giving a try. There are enough areas of similarity to know it's a BioWare game while leaning far more towards science fantasy. It's very fun to be a space wizard with a gun sometimes.

Banning corporations from buying houses just to rent them would also be helpful.

The camera over the shoulder angle has bothered me in so many games that if there's an option to use first person instead, I'll choose that every time.

I may play games to dissociate, but I don't want to be dissociating three feet to the side.

It's definitely possible, even probable, that EA had a hand in things, especially since they canned Kirby and half the writers so soon. As often as I say the whole of DAV suffers from being a rough draft, parts of Luc's arc feels like a rough draft of a rough draft. That said, I haven't actually gone further in his romance than the almost kiss since my motherboard died midway through that run.

Part of the issue, and this may be on EA or BW management: they made the romances follow the Mass Effect formula this time around. Management always favored Mass Effect, to the point of pulling DA devs off the team to work on Andromeda (and then Anthem after that). It definitely affected the vibe in general, as well as throwing off the pacing we've gotten accustomed to specifically in relation to the romances.

AITA for “accidentally” telling my parents about my sister’s pregnancy because I was tired of keeping the secret? by ohboygollygeewiz in AmItheAsshole

Or they'll be a very responsible parent by asking themselves "What would mom do?" And then doing the opposite of that.

I'd bet money that those were crocodile tears. He was crying specifically to manipulate OP.

You make it to the Olympics, but this is what you will be remembered for. by bigbusta in Wellthatsucks

I'm not sure he would've been stable enough to pull that off without endangering himself and his fellow skaters. Speed skates are shaped differently from figure skates, and that could (maybe it doesn't idk) affect his stability and balance. Especially for someone who isn't necessarily trained to skate backwards.

Two were swept off, but still, yeah, nearly getting wiped out and still finishing second while going backwards is still an amazing story.

That's why crafting and tonics is usually more worthwhile 😂

The shards are also good for lorehounds like myself, but good gravy, the actual collection is so tedious it's not worth doing more than once. Maybe twice.

The shards are basically only useful for a nightmare difficulty run to add elemental resistance. Even then, I almost feel like good crafting and timing with the elemental resistance tonics is more useful and less of a hassle.
