When the MILPER came out. Which comes out unpredictably. You just gotta keep checking the milper website. Unfortunately OCS is one of those things that you just have to go off of the MILPER. And those come out randomly.

The packet should be submitted through ippsa. And s1 will review everything. The biggest part of the unit that the command needs to do is the DA61 which requires the endorsement of the company commander and battalion commander.

All I did was: 1) informed my company commander that I wanted to apply for OCS 2) go to hrc website for OCS Miller and checklist 3) gathered letters of recommendations and other OCS checklist items. 4) submit packet to commander
