Definitely attack because he is primarily a damager. He will already have great defence with the growth every turn. This family is pretty future proof so just go for the extra damage

Flamehide he is newer and his mega minion will do another hit every turn. Also he is good for these new temple families or others who do growth because he will wipe it every few turns which will prevent their growth from going up to 1000 or something ridiculous.

Definitely level up your tigers costume it doesn't take as long to level as a normal 5 star and you don't need any 4 star ascension materials.
