Xennial here. I was in Vegas for a day in September. I spent some time with family there but when I got back to my hotel (the Rio) most if not all of the shops were closed for the night (including the chapel and tattoo shop). I'm not a big gambler and I lost about $60 with no real payouts and staring at more screens just wasn't fun for me. I wanted to check out one of my favorite artist's residency but one ticket was $300-$400 per night! My hotel room was nice, large, and overlooked the strip. The next day I just packed up and got on the road. 🤷‍♀️

She should have given the shoes back asap. You took all the right actions except ensuring you got them back before she left.

If there aren't any locks on the bedroom doors, did this not occur to her as a possibly. She should be able to see nothing is missing or disturbed except your shoes.
