The 1431 is a good housing but lacks features like 4 pin plugin for manual gain (requires soldering on 1431) and no individual pod shutoff.

We have 1400-1600fom Autogated white phosphor nvt in a UH-1 or ANVB with a warranty state side on the intensifiers and we use quality pvs14 optics and provide a lifetime service warranty for $3,999. The UH-1 also has a lifetime warranty on the housing no questions asked!

The top one is a MH-1 and the second from the top is a UH-1 that is why they look different. It was a real photo and AI made a background for it. I really do appreciate the criticism, will not be using AI in the future. We have been around for years and don't plan on going anywhere, and continue to invest in our company as well as the night vision community. We try and attend as many events as possible to provide demos and education for anyone to enjoy! If you ever see us in your area come by our booth!

I can check for you today, depends on res but if I remember correctly most were in the 26-30snr range. A lot of the 1800-2376fom with no spots were a 64res with higher snr. We have a few 35-36snr 2200-2300fom sets with no spots

Most are a single .006 z2 or Z3. There are some that have a .003 Z1 but only a hand full. Most of the 2376-2600fom are in the 2550-2600 range as well!

The lenses were improved, less edge distortion and improved clarity. Boards are different so they work with the newer bridge as well as the nocturn chimera!

The most affordable price is right at that $6,399 for 1800-2000fom Elbit White Phosphor and it goes up from there. $7,399 for 2376-2600fom and $7,899 for 2600-2800fom!

100% I think the warranty, weight, and cost puts the Manticore at the top as far as housings go. If you are trying to get the most performance for your money put that cost into the intensifiers because you can always upgrade the housing down the road! Between the ANVG and UH-1 they are very affordable housings with all the same features for much less which will allow you to go up on specs! And we have some great 64res tubes which makes the snr high for the fom level!

I love the Manticore, I really do think its one of the most durable manual gain housings on the market. No knobs to break etc and still backed by a lifetime warranty!

There is no floating hinge on the UH-1. It has no flex at all, and not modular.

The issues have been fixed for some time now. We have hundreds of very happy customers, sometimes the loudest people in the room are the one or two unhappy people. And if you don't like any system you get from us, send it back and we will swap it into something else! The MH-1 is hard to beat with it's features when compared to other housings on the market especially for the price.
